To be pretty sure i am pregnant - despite neg test?

I have has two very fuzzy / super light positives - but he rest are negatives. I feel pregnant though. Think period due today or tomorrow... Am i testing too early?

My negative test is sat next to me trying to get my pad off me.

Can I hijack and ask how many of these 'negative tests' turned out to be DSs rather than DDs?

I read that HCG levels rise slower with boys. In my case I got a strong line before my period was due with DD and had to wait until after I was due to get a faint line with DS.

It's probably just nonsense but would be interesting to hear people's experiences.

Wow... my "negative" was a DS too!

With DD I tested positive within a day or so of missed period.. with DS, it took until about 6-7 weeks!

My negative was DD

Same as me then breastmilkdoesafablatte positive much earlier for a DD.

I tested faintly positive 2 days before my period was due with DD, on a cheapy dip stick test.

I used the Clear Blue digital ones, the ones that say "pregnant" or "not pregnant" tested 5 days before period was due and got positives on the 1st test with both my DDs

7 negatives before a positive at 6 weeks pregnant. I was on the pill but just knew I was pregnant. DH was starting to worry about my sanity (and bank balance with the obsessive test buying). Our daughter will be a year old this weekend!

Very fain line again! (Literally barely there 'skin me wuestion its validity once agaaaain!) however AGAIN it did go Steiner thn lighten up again to practically disappear?? What the hell is this?

I didn't get a positive till a week after my period was due (tested every day as I thought something was going on)... She's now 4

Test again tomorrow but is does sound hopeful!

It does indeed! I just wonder why a line comes and then practically disappears? My period is due - im sure it was a day or two ago. I just feel pregnant. My boobs feel like they have done 10 x rounds with Mike Tyson!! Even my armpit hurt !? Haha.

TTC (but over 40)
5 days late, feel a bit odd, bloated etc
Thought AF had arrived on the correct day but there was only a tiny bit of brown blood (like 2 drops tiny) and nothing since.
Have done clearblue digital and clearblue normal tests on day +2 and +4 both negative.
Thought it might be my cycle starting to change due to age but I am a regular 29 day girl and always have been.
Should I try a different brand?

I didn't get a positive until 2 months pregnant .. Was going mad! DD here

Pasta more evidence for your research trial I have 3 boys and I never had a positive preg test until I was about 5 days late. That said, I'm pretty sure that I ovulate late so maybe that has something to do with it? Good luck, OP, personally I don't think preg testing is an exact science - I was certain I was preg each time but like I said, took ages to get a bfp

Negative with DS2, but I knew without a doubt I was. How can you feel it so strongly yet not have the hormones to match, v.odd!

I'm sure that pregnancy tests can only be read in first 10 minutes as the line can change after that?

I would get a first response today if you can and test with first morning wee tomorrow.

I had verrrry faint lines when i tested when my period was a couple of days late. I went to the doctors and my test there came up negative.
Some tests are more sensitive that others. Clear blue are one of the least sensitive types.
When my period was about 2 weeks late i started getting strong positives and i was pregnant. :)
