Just found out I'm pregnant

I've come here for the traffic

Basically my last period was the 2/2 - 6/2 I had sex with a guy on the 8/2 however we used a condom. We slept together on the 12th 2/3 times without a comdom which was a MASSIVE mistake. I got back together with my ex on the 16th and we had sex numberous times thought the week and every time after usually 1-3 a day a couple of days a week I was on micronor and took it the same time everyday. The only days I missed out on were 20th & 22nd I was also put on antibiotics around the same time

I've just found out I'm pregnant My phone says I'm 5 days late but that is wrong sometimes by up to 2/3 days to early.

My average length is 26 days and my letaul phase As I worked out was 12 days (according to my phone so could be wrong)

Am I right in thinking it will be my ex/current partners.

I know I was stupid I never saw myself in this situation!

My sac was 3.5mm

Any idea roughly how long I'm gone?

OP, why does it matter how pregnant you are? You're not going to be able to work out paternity through it. You're very early on, you have options, surely the priority is working out which option is best for you and your DC? Focus on planning your new life, whatever that is.

Bearbehind · 07/03/2014 12:42

OP, you seem to be getting more than a little obsessed about how far pregnant you are and it's pointless.

Neither man wants the child and the gap in between you sleeping with the 2 of them means you can't be sure who the father is.

Whatever you do, you are going to have to do alone.

Stop focusing on who the father is and start working out what you want yo do about the pregnancy and your future life.

Jackanory1978 · 07/03/2014 14:33

Hi, I'm an Obs & Gynae doctor. There's no way you can tell paternity or date of conception by the scan. The length of the sac can give an idea as to how far along you are but it won't be accurate enough to say it was one man or the other. The absolute only way you'll know is by paternity testing once you have the baby.

Like other posters have said there's no point at this stage in worrying about the paternity as you'll get no answers until the child is born. Good luck!

Finola1step · 07/03/2014 14:57

Such you have just been given really good advice from Jackanory. It's time to stop stressing about the dates, move on and look after your health and well being.

Op had an internal scan, which is normal in early pregnancy as they can see more then. Well it was when I hadmy children a few years ago

eurochick · 07/03/2014 15:41

Internal scans are absolutely standard in early pregnancy. I've had several.

Internal scans are not standard in normally progressing early pregnancy. I know people who have had them but always with a past history of issues. Why did your GP refer you OP? I'm not sure that was very helpful tbh as no matter what the scan says you cannot rule out early ovulation/long lived sperm. In your scenario you need dna testing.

FlockOfTwats · 07/03/2014 16:07

Ive had internals in all of my pregnancies but only due to a ruptured ectopic (first pregnancy).

I don't buy the go told him he definitely cant have kids. They don't just say that, they do further testing. My brother kicked me so hard in my stomach when we were teenagers that i bled vaginally for weeks and GP suspected damage but couldn't tell me without further testing. She said it could prevent me having kids. No paperwork to prove this.

He would have had repeated sperm counts and i imagine other investigations into the damage which would provide paperwork but the wording "my gp told me" implies the doctor just came out with it.

FlockOfTwats · 07/03/2014 16:09

Oh and its quite simple - If both deny its theirs, CSA at birth, theyll make them do a dna test.

eurochick · 07/03/2014 16:15

I've been pregnant twice in the last year, MrsDV and all my scans up to 10 weeks (two in the first pregnancy and three in this one due to ishoos) were internal. From 10 weeks onwards they were external.

ikeaismylocal · 07/03/2014 16:16

I have had internals in both pregnancies, I had one 3 days ago. They seem pretty standard to me, a little undignified what with dildo cam, but it's great to know the baby is in the right place.

Wuxiapian · 07/03/2014 16:17

I only had an internal scan with DC2, now 13 months, as I had bleeding - not with DC3, now 3 weeks old.

I thought internals were only done for investigative purposes.

Northernlurker · 07/03/2014 16:27

Scanning due to medical issues takes place but is having shagged two blokes that sort of issue? Hmm

Northernlurker · 07/03/2014 16:27

I think the OP has been very badly advised if she thought today's intervention would be helpful to her situation.

I had some bleeding (now stopped) Hence the early scan. All looks to be ok but it's to early to for sure.

Wasn't expecting the dildo can, uncomfortable to say the least was expecting something smaller
