Someone has stolen my username.

I'm quite upset, I shouldn't be really.

I wouldn't be to bothered but they seem to post a lot more than me so are effectively making me the 'second' BumpandGrind.

Why would you pick a name of another member but just change the spelling slightly :(

I nc because another poster had a very similar user name to mine-I only realised when another poster asked if we were one and the same.

Its hard to come up with a name that is both relevent to you and witty.

waves to Moomin there are lots of Moomins about.... in real life I've been known as Moomin for 19 years so I'm a little bit attached to it really Blush plenty of Moomin love to go around Grin

I think I'm the only Kelper. Although I was reading a classics thread the other day from 2007 and there was a. Poster called kelper rose.

Hello AlpacaLypse! Yours is one of the clever alpaca names I've been admiring. And no, I don't mind at all. The more alpacas the merrier, I say. We are a nice little herd Smile

I get shortened to Drama or sometimes DA, or DramaAl once (which I quite liked!). That's another potential confusion, as there are also lots of Drama names about Grin

I'm really pleased that so many people seem to be happy about having similar names. It doesn't bother me in the slightest. Not to sure about being called an arse just because of my username though Hmm

Glad nobody really feels the need to get their elbows out and defend their name territory.

I was Rufus 43, then 44, then I changed for Christmas to Rufus the red nosed reindeer.

Then I couldn't name change properly and so went to Rufus the reindeer

There is a Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, and that keep confusing me

Need to think of an another Rufus name. I did just want Rufus but it was taken

I namechanged after realising my old name was similar to a well known poster. Just didn't feel right to rob their name. I've noticed a new poster whose also got a similar name to them (and to my old one) and it's a bit weird because it throws me off for a minute!

So not bothered that you posted an arsey comment on another thread this eve about someone "stealing" your username Hmm then started this whole thread about it? Confused

I don't get the angst about it. BumpNGrind obviously didn't "copy" your name on purpose, just thought of a similar one. It's not that original or unsual! But then I change my name every few weeks for anonymity so don't really get the attachment.

I think you should stalk that upstart BumpandGrind and respond nastily to all her/his posts until s/he does the decent thing and namechanges. What a cheek, stealing (nearly) your username. Hanging's too good for her/him.
