Someone has stolen my username.

I'm quite upset, I shouldn't be really.

I wouldn't be to bothered but they seem to post a lot more than me so are effectively making me the 'second' BumpandGrind.

Why would you pick a name of another member but just change the spelling slightly :(

I used to be something else on here - then over the years there were so many crap versions of my something else that I changed completely to what I am now.

But now nobody knows me anymore. Maybe I should join the nobodies Sad

I seem to remember another poster has started a couple of threads saying they have a similar username. I know in one case the other poster changed because she was on the same antenatal group as me.

I think there are a few posters with notso in the name maybe there is a Notso I've never 'met' them though!

There were no moomins about when I joined now I see them all the time, doesnt bother me not a lot you can do about it

I wanted Acradia when I first joined, but couldn't (Hi Arcadia!) and so wasn't satisfied with any similar alternatives.

There's also been an influx of alpacas & llamas recently, and at least one thread about it where we talked about all things camelid Smile

AlpacaPicnic has been around a good while, and I've been DramaAlpaca since last June, but I've been here under other names for a couple of years. I chose my name before I saw AlpacaPicnic & I'm not sure who was first. In the last couple of months a lot more have come along, some with very clever names.

They do say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery Grin

Hello again DramaAlpaca!

I haven't had this one very long, I don't think any of the older Alpaca's mind. The only time it's a pita is when as Gwen and Ineed say upthread, it gets shortened to just Alpaca. At one point on the FYF threads I was getting seriously confused.

My very first nn was randommoment, and there was also RandomMess around a lot at the time, so I found myself confused by replies to her comments occasionally. I've also had a nn with Imperial in it, and been on threads at the same time as ImperialBlether, which had the same effect. But usually one can sort it out pretty quickly.

Since I'm a serial namechanger, I probably won't be causing South American camelid confusion issues for very long!

Before mn I was on another forum for a couple of years. Posted lots and never changed usernames. I went on holiday for a couple of weeks and when I came back some bastard had namechanged to a name one letter different to my established username Angry . And regulars had given her the same nn as me! So I stormed off in a sulk and joined mn Grin .

There are a couple of other pandas around. I quite often read a thread and see someone replying to "Panda" and then I get confused.

But I'm easily confused.

I had a start the first time I saw 'Eve' post, and then when she said she'd been here for years I was very confused, because I hadn't come across her before. I don't think you could tweak my name really though, so it's all good.
