It's completely inappropriate to be having one-on-one contact with a student for extended periods of time after school. Even during school hours, preferably it should not be one-on-one or if it has to be, should be within view of other teachers/students.

I've just come back to this thread because I was thinking of you.No offence was meant by asking how you were. You sounded so worried early on in the thread.
As so many people have already said, he is putting his head in the sand and ignoring his situation, part of teaching is developing the ability to prioritise and that means him being strict about his time management.
Even if the time spent with this girl is innocent, he cannot afford to risk his nqt year, his reputation and his job by continuing .

Would your GP be OK to talk with you/him ?

It does come across that he is in a vulnerable state himself with low esteem.

I think he needs some support, and GP may be effective.
