In my case, it is earrings and scent, but a friend says it has to be quality underwear in case she is run over by a bus!?? (so no Bridget Jones pants!); another needs her high heels.

So I was just wondering, what is your 'can't live without' item?

Lipstick...I am not 'me' without it!

IDismyname · 18/01/2014 17:24

Mascara, and lipstick - or lipstain, usually. Oh, and earrings.

LaurieFairyCake · 18/01/2014 17:24

Clothes and not pyjamas

A bra

YouStayClassySanDiego · 18/01/2014 17:24

A face full of make up.

Tinkertaylor1 · 18/01/2014 17:25

Mascara - will not leave the house with out it

PonceyPeas · 18/01/2014 17:28

Full face of makeup (although not bothered about lipstick). Decent clothes (jeans and nice top ok, sweatpants are for around the house only) and styled hair (either straightened or put up)

Mintyy · 18/01/2014 17:28

Yanbu to wonder

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 18/01/2014 17:29

Smoky eyeshadow and eyeshadow used as eyeliner too. Can take or leave everything else, apart from obvs some clothes!

5madthings · 18/01/2014 17:29

My nose stud, its tiny but for some reason I feel naked wihtout it, have had it since I was 15? So 20 years and always wear it.

TeaAndFag · 18/01/2014 17:33

Straightened hair and a spritz of perfume.

BabyDubsEverywhere · 18/01/2014 17:35

Another clothes, not pjs here too. Ill do my hair and make up for a night out but not day to day generally as I CBA :)

sanityawol · 18/01/2014 17:35

Yep Laurie I'm with you. Clothes and a bra and I'm out the door.

LaFataTurchina · 18/01/2014 17:35

clothes Grin

...with a few random caveats e.g. I'd only wear tracksuit bottoms to jog/go to yoga in, or only wear a tiny dress and bare legs if it was the middle of summer...

I guess what I mean is that I'd rather be a little bit over dressed than under dressed if anything unexpected came up.

goodasitgets · 18/01/2014 17:36

A bra
Makeup

harriet247 · 18/01/2014 17:36

Full face makeup hair done perfume

CouthyMow · 18/01/2014 17:37

Eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara. I could be wearing holey clothes, Bridget Jones pants and a greying bra, with shoes with holes in, but as long as my eyes are done, I don't care!

Chopsypie · 18/01/2014 17:50

A bra and non pajama clothing. That's it.

Will do hair/make up/jewellery for occasions or if I have time on a morning, but I usually choose to spend the extra 10 minutes in bed!

CHJR · 18/01/2014 17:52

Eye makeup, a watch, a bra. And, er, other clothes on top. I live in London so these days am afraid to go out without BOTH an umbrella AND sunglasses Confused

OhYouBadBadKitten · 18/01/2014 17:55

I have a pair of highish heel boots that I wear if I need to project a confident image. I can be really wobbly nervous beforehand but once they are zipped up I gain a pretend layer of professionalism.

CHJR · 18/01/2014 17:56

*although once, when DD was really new and DS2 was being diagnosed, I looked down at myself where I was waiting to collect DS1 and realised I was wearing jeans and a bra... and nothing else. And it was just some beige M & S antiquity, not a lacy flowery bit of Madonna armour.

No one batted an eye, no one said a thing, and none of my fellow parents has ever remembered it. Who says other mothers at the school gate are cruel? Grin

WooWooOwl · 18/01/2014 17:58

Make up unfortunately. I wish I was one of those women that feels confident enough without make up, but I don't have nice enough skin.

Starballbunny · 18/01/2014 18:01

My glasses, watch, earrings, clothes, hair brushed and footwear other than crocs, Long boots and make up if the world really needs facing.

SantanaLopez · 18/01/2014 18:02

Full make up
Watch
Gloves
Handbag

I wish I could just go out with no make up on really.

cherrytree63 · 18/01/2014 18:03

My false teeth....Grin

lougle · 18/01/2014 18:03
