Who had for older children with her, one of whom bashed a loo door into ds 2s head..... She didn't do anything, but then very shallowly said sorry and looked the other way. Ds was in fits of tears. She seemed very unconcerned. I called her on it and said, you dont seem very concerned. she said I have said sorry and I am watching for kids (in the loo). Her attitude was bad! I don't think you over reacted at all. Some people just aren't aware of how to behave in a civilised manner and this lack of awareness means their children never grasp this understanding either- it is 'lucky' others do as there would be a lot more conflict if we were all so self-absorbed!

Just realised also I do freak out a bit when ds injured himself. I nearly lost him at birth, due to a traumatic birth. he spent 10 days in an incubator being hypothermically cooled. And he's my only! Perhaps I need to work on that a little, but he's only 2 still.
