To have had a go at a woman

Who had for older children with her, one of whom bashed a loo door into ds 2s head..... She didn't do anything, but then very shallowly said sorry and looked the other way. Ds was in fits of tears. She seemed very unconcerned. I called her on it and said, you dont seem very concerned. she said I have said sorry and I am watching for kids (in the loo). Her attitude was bad! WIBU to have a go at her? I am normally a mind your own business kind of person!

VampyreofTimeandMemory · 18/01/2014 20:26

bordellosboheme · 18/01/2014 20:32

Sorry pistol I thought your 6.27 post was directed at me, since I do eat loads, have few friends and am often stuck behind a laptop. Am my abusive partner (who I'm trying to leave) often calls me fat. (even thought I like my figure and I'm only a tall size 14). So I thought you could see through the computer Blush

Hate beef burgers though. Yuk Wink

FutTheShuckUp · 18/01/2014 20:35

OP sounds like you have more to worry about than what happened today then. Try not to worry about the minor things in life

MoominsYonisAreScary · 18/01/2014 20:36

Well I already started on the wine and very soon Im going to have a burger too

bordellosboheme · 18/01/2014 20:37

Wedding coming up, sorry I think I misread your post too? This threat is so confusing!

OP posts:
HaroldLloyd · 18/01/2014 20:37

OP yes I agree with fut don't stress over this concentrate on getting away from that arsehole Thanks

VampyreofTimeandMemory · 18/01/2014 20:38

often when you're struggling with 'low mood', self-esteem issues, etc, things affect you more. OP you've done nothing wrong, feeling protective of your child isn't abnormal - hope you're ok.

bordellosboheme · 18/01/2014 20:43

My mood and self esteem is pretty good to be honest. I'm on a bit of a high as I'm away from the abusive arsehole on a holiday with ds, whilst I work out what to do next! He owns the house and would sooner see me on the streets than help me out so I think I will end up applying for a council flat. But I digress!

bordellosboheme · 18/01/2014 20:45

Surely the minor things in life is what Aibu is for Grin

OP posts:
HaroldLloyd · 18/01/2014 20:46

Totally. Grin

InPursuitOfOblivion · 18/01/2014 20:48

Ohhh this new information puts everything in a different light.
I completely take back my 'nut job' comment and apologise unreservedly.
Sounds like you have a lot on your plate and being at the end of your tether definitely makes any situation seem worse.

Beef burgers are yummy though. Especially with blue cheese. Yum

bordellosboheme · 18/01/2014 20:53

Thanks oblivion, but surely it's not right to call someone a nut job, abusive, shitty relationship or not.

As usual there have been a mix of comments on here, supportive ones and some in that great old British tradition of kicking people when they're down. Great.

OP posts:
FutTheShuckUp · 18/01/2014 20:56

You asked for views, people gave them. Its kind of how these forums work. Im sorry for the shit you are going through but you were overeacting, my view still stands even though its understandable

bordellosboheme · 18/01/2014 20:57

Views are fine. I don't mind people saying Yabu but the insults are unnecessary IMHO. I know how these things work. I've been arou d the block a few times.

OP posts:
FutTheShuckUp · 18/01/2014 21:01

Lucky you Wink

bordellosboheme · 18/01/2014 21:04

Well, not in that way (I wish) Wink

OP posts:
PistolAnnies · 18/01/2014 21:05

bordello Thank u for the flowers Smile And sorry for the late reply there! Here you go, have a glass of Wine on me Wine and another Wine :)

Oh noooooo I wasn't talking about you with my burger comment Blush I just get angry with keyboard warriors attacking other posters and being downright abusive and insulting, which a few on here have been to you, unfairly x

Your man sounds like an arse Sad You probably won't be able to see it now, but there will be a light at the end of the tunnel, as long as you got your babies, your pride and strength you'll be fine Wink xxx

FutTheShuckUp · 18/01/2014 21:06

hahahaha dont we all!!

InPursuitOfOblivion · 18/01/2014 21:08

I still don't actually think being called a nut job is offensive at all if I'm honest, but obviously you do and if you are feeling fragile, which you would with an abusive partner, I suppose it could sting a bit and I think you could do without it right now.
I Do stand by the points I made though. AIBU is not for the sensitive or feint hearted!

hmc · 18/01/2014 21:16

All name calling is offensive, no?

PistolAnnies · 18/01/2014 21:16

InPursuit Can't you just leave it there or do u like having the last say? Angry

You can see the issues the OP has got to contend with in her life right now, yet you feel the need to add this in AGAIN?!

HaroldLloyd · 18/01/2014 21:17

Calling someone a "nut job" is clearly offensive.
