I just did a Google search because my eight year old is totally addicted to stampy longnose, and I see other parents have the same issue!! She laughs out pour st him and all she wants to do is watch him. I agree about the grating laugh someone on here mentioned.

Ahhhh bless him. Stampy was on BBC Breakfast news this morning. He is a very sweet looking young man. The story was that Stampy gets more hits than One Direction. I like him even more now! Was so strange hearing this familiar voice and laugh but a totally unfamiliar face. Son was not interested once he realised it was talking and not showing his games.

I think he was on 5Live after that, because even my mum heard him, and actually approves of him now!!

Ds1 (13) has saved every penny he has been given and earned. I have had to buy a number of different technical things to allow him to film his gameplay.
He has uploaded a few to his you tube account however he plays with his brother and I watch the clips so no bad words.
Currently its minecraft.
Ds2 watches stampy and co a lot.

I have ds (10 &7) convinced that Stampy and I go waaaayy back. That I met him at uni and we used to hang out (I am considerably older than stampy) . Does anyone else tell tall stories to their dc? Or am I just weird?

I think the political parties are missing a trick, they should enlist him and make him their leader. Then in 8 - 13 years time they would win by a landslide, having been voted in by all his followers.

I have to say I don't mind him, his delight in childish things is infectious and when he was interviewed on BBC Breakfast, he came across very well. Seriously though I think he could easily team up with someone like ROSPA to help children with crossing the road, that sort of thing.

dd2 - 9, has been watching him for the last hour!

Yy to Stampy really being Jimmy Carr and iballisricsquid really being Jon Richardson. I thought it was only me that thought that. I was convinced until I saw stampy on the news.

DD1 is obsessed with Stampy....would watch his vids 24 hrs a day if I let her. Headphones are your friend.....

My 4 dc live for Stampy videos! His voice drives me nuts but it keeps the kids happy!

Some of stampy's early vids have swearing in, his newer ones have the odd 'bloody' and occasional 'shit' in there, but are generally clean.

iballisticsquid is another one loved by my DS. I actually have a bit of a crush on him, but it's only because his voice is much more pleasant on the ear than stampy's!

Diamondcart Dan is very clean also.

My 10 year old brother spends hours in his room watching him. Anyone available to help get him removed??

I thought it was only my two that were obsessed with him; then I talked to friends and saw that he is VERY popular. I also hear his voice echoing around my home, and that laugh is just so annoying! But, on the positive side - he speaks politely, doesn't swear, and has a friendly voice. You can't really ask more for kids, really, so I will tolerate him for a while longer!
