I just did a Google search because my eight year old is totally addicted to stampy longnose, and I see other parents have the same issue!! She laughs out pour st him and all she wants to do is watch him. I agree about the grating laugh someone on here mentioned.

He's a cheerful chap indeed and very dedicated. If I let Happy Jr he would be watch him all day. He's continually asking if he can make a video with him, laughing hysterically at his jokes and every single conversation has Stampy featured in it somewhere. I had no idea how big he was until I saw other parents posting on MN.

We love Stampy Longnose too!

My DS is obsessed too.....but I am forever grateful that Stampy keeps his dialogue clean.....unlike other gaming videos.

As DS is autistic and thinks that Stampy is the new Messiah this is fabulous,

My children are allowed to watch Stampy videos because in the main he doesn't swear or say thing inappropriate for preteens. Unlike some of the Minecraft regulars who I just banned in the end.

I love his laugh and his accent. He is also funny and a really nice person the reason we "children" are addicted to his videos are those exact reasons I've just mentioned plus a few others like it's entertaining ect

But if you really want to know ask your "child". Also if your not carful your child could become obsessed with his videos like me and they could do whatever possible to get in contact with him. I love stampy and I like iballisticsquid.

Stampy does swear and it is thrown in a normal conversation. Admittedly not the worst swear words but I have heard them on several occasions

Wasn't Stampy hacked a while ago? DD was really annoyed about it, she follows him on YouTube. DS gets a bit annoyed with him, he prefers Tom Syndicate, who still has an annoying voice but his laugh doesn't grate my ears.

iballisticsquid is fab! There's another one DD watches, is it icupquake? It's girl that does it anyway.

iBallistic Squid and someone called David? I hadn't had any of the sweary ones so was mortified when I recommended it to a friend and she said it had swearing in!!

Stampy, as someone else said, might as well be another member if our family too.

I love Stampy and Squid. There, I've said it. My two are obsessed with them at the moment and we have hours of youtubing on the main tv. I actually find the videos relaxing (despite Stampy's grating laugh and shrieking). Some of the maps are gorgeous, really creative.

There's very little swearing, and what there is, you hear worse on the street. I suspect they'll tone that down even further now they are making money on it.

As a grown woman with a slight Minecraft addiction, I can't stand StampyLongNose. Also, his very early stuff does contain swearing.

Yogscast are wonderful, but the majority of their vids do contain some swearing, so definitely not for the younger audience. Some of Sjin's 'Let's Build' series are swear-free because it's creative, not survival. His channel is YogscastSjin. He's currently doing (or has just done) a series called Let's Build Erebor, where he is building his interpretation of one of the settings from The Hobbit. He's It's sort of amazing.

TobyGames used to do Minecraft without the swears, but hasn't played in a while. His video archive might be a good place for a rainy day. He has covered other, less suitable games, since - GTAV amongst others; so only good for kids if they're likely to stay within the Minecraft playlists.

I am more than a lot tempted to start my own youtube channel featuring swear-free Minecraft vids. Just need to get a PC capable of recording gameplay.

Ds1 is six and has just discovered Stampy and Mine craft.

I can't complain as before that I had to suffer Plants vs Zombies and the incessantly nasal voice of NintendoCapriSun as DS watched him endlessly.
