Heartbrokenmum73 · 26/11/2013 20:26

I'm not a desert person - all that bloody sand Grin

SantaIKnowHimIKnowHim · 26/11/2013 20:26
Confused Well, I'm not a pudding dessert type person either. Grin
Sparklymommy · 26/11/2013 20:27

I love dessert. And pudding. And cake. And sweets. And I especially love chocolate.

KungFuBustle · 26/11/2013 20:28

Suppose it depends how it was said. I don't care for pudding and never have room anyway. But I just say "no thanks". Was it said in a holier then thou way?

Erm... well I am very much a pudding person but I don't see why that is such a silly thing to say. Some people are just not that bothered about sweet things. Hard to believe I know but DH is like this. If we eat out and are having a pudding he ill often opt for the cheese board instead.

CreamyCooler · 26/11/2013 20:28

Why is it weird?

travailtotravel · 26/11/2013 20:29

my goal is now to try and get one of these wrong wrong wrong people to say "I am a pudding" ....

Pudding is such a stupid word. It is.

CreamyCooler · 26/11/2013 20:30

I don't like cakes, puddings, biscuits etc and definitely couldn't eat any after a large main course.

LondonInHighHeeledBoots · 26/11/2013 20:31

People are welcome to say that, as long as it is not followed by 'so lets just gets starters and mains' or 'so lets not get pudding.'Angry Angry Angry

Fuck off, I want pudding. I don't want a starter.

lifesgreatquestions · 26/11/2013 20:32

I'm not into sweets, would rather use those calories on something wonderful and savoury, mmm.

lovelilies · 26/11/2013 20:32

I'm not keen on afters Wink

Financeprincess · 26/11/2013 20:32

Isn't it because people who say it are often also the type who claim to have allergies to things when they don't? Like a weird kind of self-imposed diet that everybody else has to be involved in.

Mymumsfurcoat · 26/11/2013 20:33

I'm not a dessert person, I'd rather have more wine Grin

theeternalstudent · 26/11/2013 20:33

What's wrong with saying dessert? I would never say pudding.
Would deffo rather have a starter than dessert.

I don't understand what the problem with that is?

CreamyCooler · 26/11/2013 20:33

I'd rather have the calories for alcohol!

travailtotravel · 26/11/2013 20:34

Is it ok to have the dessert AND wine? Dessert wine, with the pudding.
Doesn't sound right calling it pudding wine tho!

FortyDoorsToNowhere · 26/11/2013 20:35

I have got to be in the mood for the pudding/ dessert. Rather a starter than a pud.

ShreddedHoops · 26/11/2013 20:38

I say it cos I'm not. Dig in yourself though! I'd rather have a liqueur. Or pig out on a cheese plate. I feel really unwell after too much sugar so I just avoid it now.

dustarr73 · 26/11/2013 20:38

No im not a pudding person so i will just have half of yours are the ones i dont likeSmile

cantdoalgebra · 26/11/2013 20:39

A dessert is fruit based - unlike a pudding. You can, of course, have a dessert for pudding if you want!

Arcadian · 26/11/2013 20:40

I'm not a pudding person! I've been known to have another starter! And will always choose the cheese board!
