You are not being unreasonable! Could you bring me some?

WestieMamma · 19/11/2013 12:57

If you're having it with runny eggs and tomato ketchup I may have to kill you and claim possession.

CuChullain · 19/11/2013 13:09

Poached egg, bacon and black pudding all on a large slice of toasted soda bread.

Bliss

Gatekeeper · 19/11/2013 13:13

I love it too as does dh and ds & dd; smashing with bacon, fried eggs and beans . No time for wusses that pull sick faces at the thought of eating it Wink

TrueBoo · 19/11/2013 13:15

If you love blackpudding, you MUsT try some Stornoway blackpudding. It takes blackpudding to a whole new level of deliciousness.

BunnyLebowski · 19/11/2013 13:16

Only if it's the proper stuff

The cheap English version with the big cubes of white fat in it is disgusting.

BunnyLebowski · 19/11/2013 13:16

And Stornoway is gorgeous too!

On thick white bread, real butter & HP brown sauce

MistressDeeCee · 19/11/2013 13:21

I love black pudding, preferably home made. Couldn't care less what its made from..I really could eat it every daySmile

Allalonenow · 19/11/2013 13:22

Oh I love black pudding, sometimes I fry cubes of it as a garnish for steak or to brighten up a winter salad.

I love white pudding too, no trip to Dublin is complete without a plate of sausage and white pudding.

Thistledew · 19/11/2013 13:22

I made a really lovely broth the other day with black pudding. I had some to use up that wasn't really enough to serve as portions, but melted down in a thick stew it was bloody lovely!

LondonInHighHeeledBoots · 19/11/2013 13:22

Oooohhhhh, i want some black pudding now. dh hates it - more for me Grin

on soda bread with a poached egg, tis the food of the gods.

and white pudding -seems impossible to find in England, people think I've made it up even if it is the stuff of dreams

Crinkle77 · 19/11/2013 13:23

yum black pudding on toast with brown sauce

Crinkle77 · 19/11/2013 13:24

I have also had it with goats cheese on a bed of rocket as a starter in a restaurant. Delish.

craftynclothy · 19/11/2013 13:25

I'm odd when it comes to black pudding. I love it in stews where it all breaks up but I don't like it fried, so hate it on breakfasts and things. Confused

sonlypuppyfat · 19/11/2013 13:26

I don't like it with big chunks of fat it in but it is fab.

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 19/11/2013 13:26

Why did I read this when my stomach is making more noise than the tv

GobbySadcase · 19/11/2013 13:28

YANBU.

Gimme.

BadLad · 19/11/2013 13:28

I love it. The last time I stayed in a hotel with an all-you-can-eat breakfast, I had five plates of fried food. Two of those were only black pudding.

DownWithThisSortOfThing · 19/11/2013 13:28

YANBU, I love it with bacon, eggs and mushrooms especially. Smile

squoosh · 19/11/2013 13:29

Oh yes, I adore black pudding, specifically Clonakilty black pudding, on some buttered brown bread. Stornoway is ok but not as good.

squoosh · 19/11/2013 13:29

White pudding is also nice but they don't seem to eat it in the UK as far as I can tell.

LucySnoweShouldRelax · 19/11/2013 13:30

Clonakilty? It's all about Kanturk black pudding.

Not hardcore enough for white pudding though.

GobbySadcase · 19/11/2013 13:31

Squoosh ocado do but that's about it - love white pud.
