To love Frys Chocolate?

SPsDoesntLikeChaffingFishnets · 11/11/2013 19:07

I don't really like dark chocolate but I love Frys.

I have a bar of mint cream and one orange cream.

I think the Orange is my favourite. It also reminds of my Great Grandfather who uses to sneak us it in church.

He used to tell us it was magic and kept him alive.

Anyone else?

Coconut Boosts got stuck all round my teeth and I had to spend about an hour picking the bits off with my fingers, dribbling chocolatey dribble down my chin Sad.

But they were divine.

Is coconut ice still on sale? The pink and white stuff? That and Fry's orange cream were my drug of choice.

Holy cow - Bullion bars!

And the chocolate cigarettes in Americanised 'packets' (like Camel). They were wrapped in white paper and tasted amazing.

Yes yes to the golf ball chewing gums too. And ice-cream flavour jawbreakers.

I got some candy cigs and they are shit Sad Taste nothing like they should.

Also loved the chocolate cigs that you had to take the white 'rizla' off.

I.recognise the name of coconut ice.

I have a nougat with peanuts in the fridge

I want a bitz bar. Does anyone remember them? They were a chunky bar of dark chocolate with crunchy green mint pieces. I really really loved them I think I ate one every day when I was pregnant with dd. Grin
Been discontinued now though. Sad

Ooh being dweller...Biarritz!! Wasn't that in a triangular box? Do you remember Carousel? Or Matinee Selection, they were both marzipan- themed I think.

You can get coconut ice in posh places.

I know you can still get them, but my Mum always used to have a little white bag of mint imperials or licorice torpedoes tucked down the side of her chair.

OP, I've hated Fry's chocolate for longer than you've been alive.
My grandfather loved the dark mint bar, my grandmother loved Fry's Turkish Delight. Both of which were safe from a scavenging grandchild.

It was just really cheap chocolate. I don't think it could be legally called chocolate Grin

Just like the the chocolate footballs in a net
