Disclaimer, I don't want to hear people's views on her per se, I just want to know if she has returned or not.
It's a nightmare doing a search as hundreds of bloody pages come up!

I should think if AF wants people to know she's back, she'll tell them.

I hope she has come back tbh. The place is a little bit boring without her. She's helped me a number of times and I can myself needing her stern words again very soon!!!

When I take advise from anyone, I always question what qualifies that person to hold a view.

I don't know any of my clients personally, but can tell from their responses and description of their situations, that they are really experiencing something rather than describing it.

I think you make valid points.

However I would not want to take advise from a Dr over the phone if I had not met them previously.

The accountant analogy does not really apply as it is not often that you ask one for advice over personal matters that do not concern finance.

I've posted quite regularly on the SN board for the last 9 years and have namechanged about 4 times because of people guessing who I was. Name changes should not be outed on MN - the point is we're supposed to be anonymous.

I wasn't around much last week, but from this thread I can see that AF was banned, what happened? I usually notice her posts but I don't recall them ever being controversial, to the point of her getting a ban! Straight up, yeah but nothing more! What did I miss? Just being nosey that's all , not trying to create drama or anything! I hope to see her about again soon......

If she gave good advice as AF then she'll give the same advice as FrillyMcFluffPants. You'd soon spot her.

if she were to come back or is back, I don't think she needs all this stuff to keep being raked up. She's probably mortified and just wants everyone to shut up about it.

I think the comment from MNHQ upthread reveals quite a lot of truth behind the recent behaviour of Mods and how posters have experienced them.
I would have thought Mods are here to provide some form of dispassionate overview.
"Thanking" all those who have reported the thread, completely unnecessary and frankly a bit [Mmm]
Threatening to "Zap" the thread, very high handed and conveys the message of if you don't play the way we expect you to, we'll take you out of the sandpit!

Not a single message to the OP advising why.
A big bunch of flowers at the end to all those who reported is very clearly a communication of who is favoured and who isn't.

An alternative post could have been,

"HELLO, just to advise this post has been reported by a number of posters. As the OP has clearly said in the post, there is no wish on their part to reignite the debate of the last few weeks and nor do we.

Should the thread begin to go in that direction we will delete it.

We wont be given flowers or approval to either the OP or reporters as that would clearly alienate one or the other and reveal us as people who are taking one side over the other within the first page of a discussion"

If I was in her position I'd be too humiliated by all of this fuss to come back with the same name. If she's here anonymously I think she should be left alone, she will have chosen to be anonymous for a reason.

Who actually cares?! There's loads of people on here willing and able to give sound advice.
All these anyfucker threads are getting ridiculous!
If she's your friend or something, why not just ask her herself? Or if she's not, speak to others on here!
