To be FURIOUS at Waitrose?

I am disgusted and appalled and my evening is ruined.

Having purchased my Waitrose Essentials thin and crispy cheese and ham Pizza I came home expected an easy tea.

I have just got the pizza out and gone to lift the label where it states clearly "peel here". It doesn't peel! Nothing nada. I have NO ACCESS TO THE COOKING INSTRUCTIONS. Angry

I am now having to wing it. I have had to put the oven on and recklessly just pick a temperature and monitor the pizza.

This pizza is meant to be eaten by my children fgs. What if I haven't cooked it properly? Waitrose should think of the children. Sad

I still have the label. In all its stuck together glory. I am going to write to the national press about this and I may sue.

How could they do this to me? I hate it when bad things happen to good people? Sad

AIBU to start some sort of campaign?

PrimalLass · 01/11/2013 18:11

Facebook, Twitter and the Daily Mail for starters.

Or 12-ish minutes at 200 deg.

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 01/11/2013 18:12

You need to start a petition. Right NOW!
This is not on at all

ivykaty44 · 01/11/2013 18:12

I am making home made pizza tonight I shall wing it as I have no recipe, the dough is in the bread machine and I shall look to see what I can put onto, then bung in the oven on I reckon gas mark 6 for 25 minutes or there a bouts.

No need for cooking instructions, a pizza will cook thereabouts in 30 minutes in a medium oven temperature

It's a pizza! Common sense.

Rooble · 01/11/2013 18:12

Is this a kind of in joke that I don't get? You sound totally insane.
(220 degrees for 15 minutes will normally cook a pizza)

Pobblewhohasnotoes · 01/11/2013 18:13

Nandocushion · 01/11/2013 18:14

Have you researched the effects of badly-cooked pizza on unsuspecting children?

BoundandRebound · 01/11/2013 18:14

220 degrees for 15 mins would normally incinerate a pizza

StealthPolarBear · 01/11/2013 18:14

Yes of coutse its a joke people

Just write THINK OF THE CHILDREN on a piece of paper, wrap round a brick and chuck it through their window. Lroblem solved

HoneyDragon · 01/11/2013 18:14

Primal

But what if its wrong? It may not be the correct degree of crispness?

Oh. The humanity.

30 minutes in the oven? Shock only if you like blackened pizza! 15 mons TOPS at about 190/200.

SoupDragon · 01/11/2013 18:14

Shove it in at 160 until the cheese is tinged brown.

phantomnamechanger · 01/11/2013 18:14
