Duchess of Cambridge has lost all her baby weight!! AIBU to think this is NOT front page news ffs

been meaning to post about this since saturday

front page of the Sun (yes i know. and no i do NOT buy it) screaming "DUCHESS HAS GOT A FLAT TUM!!" or something like that. with massive pic of her with her top riding up showing her slim tummy. then there was a CLOSE UP of just her tummy area as well.

why is this news?? and who is it news to? i mean, good for her, she looks lovely of course. but really, who cares?

what is actually WITH the media obsession of how women look in pregnancy and afterwards?? and why are women held up as some sort of goddesses amongst women if they have enough personal trainers and time to diet, exercise etc are lucky enough to look great shortly after giving birth??

god no wonder so many women feel so shit about themselves

Yes it was - because your last sentence what has her baby weight got to do with anything? indicated that you thought that's what this thread was about.

It was news. It was an official visit to publicise a charity. The weight loss was a detail. People are interested in details. Well, some people are.

YANBU and I shouldn't really express an opinion, but she looked great!

you see I feel a bit sorry for her think Diana on one hand they were always saying how wonderful she looked on the next they would have a headline about her being anorexic if kate was looking a bit frumpy they would comment and was ,nt poor fergie once called the duchess of pork?

Why does it matter how quickly/slowly women lose baby weight or how they did it? Why are we so obsessed with women's figures and in particular the minute details of this particular woman's life/figure/latest coat
