Watching channel 4, man with massive facial tattoo, is this a turn on? Takes up about 90% of his face?

I dont but I do like neck tattoos. I like any tattoos tbh. I like a tattooed man with a manly untattooed face.

MonstersBalls · 01/10/2013 22:42

Not faces but I don't mind a bicep or a forearm. I might be modelling my ideal man on Popeye. Smile

Funghoul · 01/10/2013 22:50

I love tattoos, and facial tattoos like Kat von ds's are nice, but that blokes just look badly done.

Famzilla · 01/10/2013 22:52

Depends what it was tbh.

CoffeeTea103 · 01/10/2013 22:56

Face, definitely notConfused

freddiefrog · 01/10/2013 22:59

I like tattoos and I have several myself, but facial ones are a no no for me

I don't really care what someone else does, but they're not for me and I don't find them attractive in the sightest

willyoulistentome · 01/10/2013 23:02

I don't like tattoos at all.

SourSweets · 01/10/2013 23:06

Depends what it is but I have been known to find a tattooed face attractive. Especially if also bearded. Definitely not flesh tunnels though.

2rebecca · 01/10/2013 23:07

No, I find men with tattoos a bit intimidating. It all seems very testosterone fueled and macho. If I fancied a bloke and he turned out to have a hidden one I wouldn't be put off by it but I'm attracted to quiet geeky blokes who tend not to be heavily tattooed and I associate heavy tattooing with low IQ and aggression, which may be a stereotype but tattooes are over represented in the prison population.

pigletmania · 01/10/2013 23:09

No I don't find tattoos very attractive

pigletmania · 01/10/2013 23:11

I agree 2rebecca, they are associated with a certain type of indivdual

SourSweets · 01/10/2013 23:11

A low IQ and aggression?

Yes that's a huge stereotype. My brother is head to toe in tattoos, as are many people I grew up with and know still, and they are sweet, considerate, creative people.

I have a fair few myself and certainly wouldn't fall into the category you think I would.

Donkeyok · 01/10/2013 23:12

I saw that wooo nooo. It was scary - too many negative associations. Its not like he's from some ancient tribe where each pattern represents something significant. He wanted to look shocking, outrageous and intimidating, possibly unique. But then why are so many people trying to look unique/individual by getting very similar tattoos. Yes its stereotyping but when you have a few seconds to make your mind up in a dark alley way, I'd be going the other way - very quickly.

FayeKorgasm · 01/10/2013 23:13

No, I don't generally like tattoos. However, Chakotay's tribal tattoo on his face, in Star Trek Voyager, was rather sexy!

hashtagwhatever · 01/10/2013 23:13

face no way.
neck oh yes.

AnyFucker · 01/10/2013 23:13

I really don't like tattoos at all, and find facial ones hideous and pointless.

Meerkatwhiskers · 01/10/2013 23:13

No I don't like it. What will they look like when they are older??

I have a female friend who is heavily tattooed and works as a trainer in the retail sector. I don't think it's appropriate really. She did have a lot of facial piercings too but she has taken a lot of them out since she started her latest job.

The batman guy is just off his rocker!!!

I saw a Maori guy at the station once: he had some serious facial tattooing, and he looked pretty fantastic (he was also wearing a kilt).

Famzilla · 01/10/2013 23:16

Oh I forgot the ridiculous prejudice that comes out in these sort of threads. Low IQ and aggression.. Jesus wept. Better not tell my boss, the mental health (dementia) ward manager with the masters degree and tattoo sleeve. He might give you a pitying look and make you a cup of tea or something equally horrendous.

DaleyBump · 01/10/2013 23:17

Anywhere else - yes. I love tattoos and have a couple myself (will get another when DS is born in November) and DP has one. DP's was just a design he liked (turned out to be the symbol from Charmed, idiot) but mine are really personal and mean a lot to me. Tattoos that have meaning are even more attractive than ones without iyswim. But on the face...? No.

FloozeyLoozey · 01/10/2013 23:17

Not for me, but people can do what they want to their own bodies. No more grotesque than having your nose broken and reshaped or your skin cut off your face and pulled back, or toxins pumped into your lips, sut the results of those are simply far more socially acceptable.

DaleyBump · 01/10/2013 23:18

Oh, also if it's cultural thing (like Chris kind of said) I quite like them. But not just, "I think I'll get a pretty picture on my forehead."

Wuxiapian · 01/10/2013 23:21

Absolutely. Not.

SourSweets · 01/10/2013 23:21

Haha "make you a cup of tea or something equally horrendous"

Quite.

One of my neighbours literally has blue skin from the amount of tattoos he has, but is often to be seen walking his small daughter to the park or fixing her hair when her pony tail comes loose.

Terrifying.
