There is frequent and open mockery of anyone who says anything vaguely intelligent. eg Edmund Elephant is a show off clever clogs if he tries to explain gravity. Daddy Pig's job is also seen as unbelievably dull because it involves writing numbers on a board. There are more examples but I am too pregnant to remember them.

DS is ill today and I have watched about a million episodes of PP so I speak with some authority but may also just be reacting to the enforced wall-to-wall Pig. IABU?

In The New House he does design the new house for the Wolfs. Mr Bull builds it in 2 days.

So I think he's an architect, or structural engineer.
Mr Rabbit is a buildings inspector, he also is a part time train ticket inspector and does space tours at the museum.

My two year old is obsessed by Peppa Pig.

In fact, I think my 22 yr old DD is too as she named her new kitten Pedro after Pedro pony.

manchester I went down to DH's shed to discuss the differences between a structural engineer and architect ... DH is an engineer so I like the thought daddy pig being one as well.
I do feel sorry for daddy pig.
We can't watch it anymore as DS is petrified of the crying...
