This is why I like Android! I didn't like the Android keyboard, so I downloaded an alternative one; also wasn't too impressed with the texting functions, so I don't use it, I downloaded another text app instead.
Having got used to the customisable nature of Android, I don't think I could ever make the switch to Apple now.

What is it about Apple phones that makes people keep buying them? There must be something about them that some people prefer over Android. What is it?

DD downloaded it on her phone yesterday. She likes it I think, though she was having to figure it all out last night.

My phone says I don't have enough memory so I need to do some deleting first. Not done the iPads yet either.

Mind you - got a new laptop this week and spending time figuring it out Windows 8 so maybe that's enough for one week!

Those of you that don't have enough memory - download it in iTunes then you don't need to delete anything from your phone.

This thread is mad. It looks different but essentially does the same things. If you were happy with the way your iPhone worked before then there's no reason why you shouldn't be happy with it now.

My apps are working fine, including the ebay app, Siri sounds just the same, it all just has a few more neater features.

Most of it I have no problem, but what is this new Safari all about? I kept getting logged out of websites, even when reading threads! This didn't happen before and I can't find where to stop it from happening. I've been all over the settings and searched online but nobody else seems to have this problem

Try Settings -> Messages -> Send & Receive -> "You can be reached at" -> uncheck the email addresses.

Mine only sends via my mobile no.

barabara- could that be because it was downloading updates to your apps all night? They can now download automatically without you having to OK it.
