To be a bit confused about Mumsnet Classics?

A lot of threads have gone into Classics, but really that's because people get swept away with it. At the time. The thread may have been funny and those posting had a day or so of laughing, but why does it need to be in Classics?

Does anyone ever look in Classics? Apart from maybe to find the unfunny Pom Bear thread? Confused

Because occasionally there is a reminiscent thread and people fhen link their favourite one's! From the vaults.

I have to say that I don’t think I have ever had one of my own threads reanimated as a Zombie. Nearly nine years to the day. Glad to be of help though.
I had only been on MN a couple of years back then but I still don’t really get Classics even now. 😁

@Sparklingbrook - I didn't realise it was a zombie till I saw your post saying you'd only been on Mumsnet a couple of years, and I thought wtf!

Sparklingbrook · 11/09/2022 09:04

Back in the day when I had no qualms about starting a thread. 😁

Classics is 95% trolls.

Trolling Mumsnet is considered good sport. Trolling Mumsnet and ending up in classics is like a poet laureate moment

Im not entirely sure it’s the accolade it used to be.
