Close-up shots of very sick child sleeping/with drip in arms/trying to smile for camera with balloons people have given them with updates like 'thanks for the balloon they cheered her up a bit' taken by parents have come up on my feed (they don't know what's wrong with child yet).
Aibu to be a bit shocked at these?

Yes, I agree with Twunk's sentence, we all have different levels of privacy we are comfortable with

And I have photos of my dcs here on my profile and on FB, ds has had several stays in hospital, and apart from the xmas one I haven't posted photos of him when he is there.

Those are the levels I am comfortable with, and personally I think it is unreasonable to judge other parents for the levels they choose.

I don't know if expat is still reading this (or if if she is definitely who I think she is...my foot might be right in my mouth!) but I just wanted to say that I followed her dd's page on fbook because a mutual friend shared it and asked for support for it. I don't know expat, she doesn't know me but her photos of her dd made her come alive to me. I felt helpless as I read the updates, but I prayed as hard as I could and seeing her gorgeous face, even looking all poorly, helped me pray that bit harder. I still think of you all now.

Thanks

(and BIG apols if I have the wrong person)
