Would you leave your baby unattended in their buggy

...while you use the loo?

On another thread I mentioned not being able to get a buggy into a small cubicle and the suggestion was to leave baby outside.

Would I be overly precious in thinking 'No, I wouldn't do that'?

Enjoy your dinner, Fanjo Smile

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 22/08/2013 18:48

Thanks I will Grin

acer12 · 22/08/2013 20:22

Fanjo you have spent the best part of a day and more, name calling and throwing insults. That's probably why people take offence with you. There are means and ways of getting your point across , but when you go down the road you did, it's basically anything goes.

I bet you are exhausted.

Emilythornesbff · 22/08/2013 20:34

"so I'm hoping the selfish fuckers around here get a big dose of karma and gain some insight I to why their actions do severely restrict the lives of disabled people"
Who the hell said that?

noblegiraffe · 22/08/2013 20:42

Gobby did, Emily. And apparently stands by it.

Sad
fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 22/08/2013 20:57

Acer. .not as exhausted as you will be after using all your brainpower to think up such a scathing retort while I had a nice meal

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 22/08/2013 21:01

Oh no..gobby got upset by you all goading her when she has a shit enough time already. .better wheel out all the sad faces.

Pathetic

Emilythornesbff · 22/08/2013 21:17

I haven't been goading anyone actually.
And that comment does make me feel sad.
Please stop being so aggressive.

GetYourSocksOff · 22/08/2013 21:22

Pathetic? It's a disgusting thing to say on a thread about which toilet to use, of all things. As is a fair amount of what has been written here. Feeling sad is one of a number of perfectly acceptable responses, and needs no validation or otherwise from you.

"I always get seen as the scapegoat" ... No shit. Absolutely cannot imagine why Hmm

Spikeytree · 22/08/2013 21:50

I imagine Fanjo was a bit sad about being told she was happy to see someone's baby be kidnapped and murdered.

Hope you had a nice meal, Fanjo.

GetYourSocksOff · 22/08/2013 21:58

Maybe you're right, spikeytree

GetYourSocksOff · 22/08/2013 22:00

...I wouldn't call that pathetic either.

HorryIsUpduffed · 22/08/2013 22:00

Earlier today I saw a mother trying to work out how to wedge her buggy into the cubicle door at the supermarket. I briefly and happily wondered if she might be a MNer, then offered to watch the pram for her for a minute (I am somewhat ungainly obviously heavily pregnant and had my 5yo with me, so non-scary looking). She smiled and said no thanks she'd be fine.

WAS IT ONE OF YOU?!

GetYourSocksOff · 22/08/2013 22:02

(Not that it needs any validation from me :) )

jacks365 · 22/08/2013 22:02

Not me horry as I had two of the big ones with me today so they had dd4 when I went to the toilet.

GetYourSocksOff · 22/08/2013 22:03

Grin oh I BET it was!!! Did she have a teepee??

GetYourSocksOff · 22/08/2013 22:05

Or a shiny new buggy lock?

littlemisswise · 22/08/2013 22:05

I am sorry to resurrect the thread, but I take issue with people having a go at Fanjo tbh.

She has not spent a day and a half throwing insults and name calling at all. She, as have I, and other disabled posters and parents of disabled children tried to get people to understand why they should not use disabled toilets. My life is a walk in the park compared to Fanjo's.

Certain posters have chosen to completely ignore everything that has been said, which is their choice. But it was also ignored when we were being called "bitchy arseholes" "self righteous arseholes", being told we were "going on", "so damn perfect" by one poster.

Another poster says we "bitch and moan"!

So how is it possibly fair to pick Fanjo out have a go at her. Absolutely disgusting behaviour!

littlemisswise · 22/08/2013 22:07

And in the time it took me to scroll back and type the post the thread was resurrected anyway!

Emilythornesbff · 22/08/2013 22:15

I have no idea if anyone is sad about my comment.
It was made following several insulting remarks, accusations of causing harm to disabled children and aggressively dismissing my concerns about leaving my DCs unattended.

It reflected my feelings on the matter.
I don't really think it compares to wishing actual harm on someone else.

GetYourSocksOff · 22/08/2013 22:18

Littlemiss I haven't scrolled through 34 pages but I've done the beginning and end, and have yet to find a post of fanjo's which achieves what you describe (ie describing the issues without insulting or name calling or, to add one of my own, being generally derisive).

But no, it's not just her.

Spikeytree · 22/08/2013 22:19

Well it was deleted, so I assume MNHQ found it offensive.

GobbySadcase · 22/08/2013 22:21

I give as much of a fuck about your feelings as you do mine, and my children's.

Clear enough?

If you are going to be selfish, entitled and obstinate I can be as well.
