I clicked on the original thread because I wanted to tell the op to fuck off. Like most people who clicked on the thread.

The people who post on that forum should be arrested for war crimes, see how big their bollocks are when they are sat in a police station.

Oh please. Most of the dickheads posting in the NAAFI bar on ArRSe have never been near the army, or if they have, are Walter Mitty types that dream of the front line but never get there. There's more imagination at play there than in a whole slew of 50 Shades bollocks.

And you can't arrest anyone for posting bollocks on the Internet. I could post here that I've just pulled off a bank heist and netted myself £20 million - doesn't mean it's true...

I wasn't being mean. I was trying to inject a bit of humour to counteract your self pity and perhaps show you how silly you're being.

You're sad, can't eat and have decided to leave MN because of some threads you chose to read on both this site and another.

Hence my 'log off and have a sandwich' post.

I don't think there is anything irrational about being deeply sad that a bunch of pricks wearing our nations flag are raping and harming people abroad. I think that's a pretty normal thing to be sad about.

In your opinion, plenty of people expressed that they may need to leave because of mumsnet's stance on that website today and they weren't 'being irrational' either.

You seem so arrogant. I was expressing my feelings and yes, knowing children were being fed chemicals put me right off my dinner, I didn't say it for your benefit, I said it because its how I was feeling.

As did the other people who were upset by a website they enjoy condoning such shite.

filee, there's a really simple solution to the problem. If you look at the back of your computer there's a wire with three pins in a plastic casing. If you pull this out of the wall then all these problems will go away. Failing that you could alternatively stop being such a drama Queen

I'm sorry that the poster felt upset about this, but I think some perspective is needed. Unless of course there are underlying reasons that would cause them to react that way.

Personally I think the army is full of rapists, paedophiles and generally very inhumane people (obviously not every member of the military, I haven't interviewed every single military personnel). The army trains you to be that way because war is an unnatural way of life. You are trained to kill people, whether in defence or not. The army is designed to dull the natural instinct to not harm others.
