please don't click on it if it would offend you
www.gumtree.com/p/business-services/massage-and-shave-in-sutton-surrey/1019529156
in short:
The title is - Massage and Shave
then it goes on describing her procedure ....
Shaving, on the other hand, achieves a completely smooth result and is a pleasant and soothing procedure.

I've reported it to the Gumtree.

Er no? She's offering shaving off the pubic hair. Loads of men get their pubic hair waxed...why not shaved?

Pantone363 · 02/06/2013 13:56

And even if it is for a prostitute she's not soliciting on the street in front of you and yours....why report her?

PipkinsPal · 02/06/2013 13:57

Didn't click on the link but surely men could shave their own pubic hair if they require. It only takes a razor and a steady hand.

HoHoHoNoYouDont · 02/06/2013 13:58

Shaving around bollocks, not exactly the career I'd like but each to their own Grin

They must be very trusting to let someone loose with a razor around them there parts!

happyAvocado · 02/06/2013 13:58

I reported it because IMHO it is an ad by a prostitute, but asking here in case I've missed something in details what proves otherwise.

OP posts:
WineNot · 02/06/2013 13:59

Same could be said for women and leg waxing Pipkins?

Greythorne · 02/06/2013 13:59

Yes, I think it's a coded ad for a sex worker.

No, I am not surprised, there are loads on gumtree.

gaggiagirl · 02/06/2013 14:00

My DP can shave his own nut sack.

WineNot · 02/06/2013 14:00

What proves otherwise?

Nothing in an ad is going to prove otherwise, is it?

Confused
DioneTheDiabolist · 02/06/2013 14:01

If she is a prostitute, she's worded her ad very well.Grin.

happyAvocado · 02/06/2013 14:03

WineNot - maybe I just wanted confirmation of my understanding of it.
Other posters don't think it is sex worker advertising.
They must have understood this ad differently.

Probably her previous add is:

*ENJOY LUXURIOUS RELAXING THERAPEUTIC FULL BODY MASSAGE BY charming, beautiful, sophisticated therapist with sparkle eyes, lovely sweet personality, great smile and amazing delightful hand.

WITH OUR BUSY LIVES, ARE YOU FEELING SORE, TIRED, OVER STRESSED FROM WORK? IS YOUR ACHING BODY MAKING LIFE UNBEARABLE?

I'M EAGER TO HELP! I'M HIGHLY EXPERIENCED IN THE COMPLEX ART OF STRESS RELIEF, AND I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO PASSING MY KNOWLEDGE ONTO YOUR BODY. LET ME STROKE THE STRESS AWAY! 1 hour massage is £50*

That's a lot of money for a massage isn't it? Especially in backstreet Sutton.

Anyway, I've googled her and she advertises in dodgy places too and it is obviously a hooker.

But, I do not understand why you are so bothered about this? Reporting this ad is not going to make prostitution disappear you know

BridgetBidet · 02/06/2013 14:07

Oops, forgot last star to bold. Oh well.

suckmabigtoe · 02/06/2013 14:09

emm, i'm a beauty therapist. i wax arseholes regularly. if i needed to post a gumtree ad i would word it more politely but i would mention it as a service. some therapist specialise in intimate waxing and that is what they do exclusively on males and females. there is nothing dodgy going on. it's what they do for a living.

scaevola · 02/06/2013 14:11

It's the "ultimate pleasure" but that would make me think it dodgy. Surely reputable masseurs (with or without depilating) would avoid double entendres?

happyAvocado · 02/06/2013 14:12

BridgetBidetlet's not bother about anything, soon ads of this kind will appear on this site, who cares ...
(Sutton is rather expensive place as far as living costs go :) )

It looks like it's alluding to sexual services to me!

suckmabigtoe · 02/06/2013 14:14

scaevola- it is possible english isn't her first language and so she isn't aware of a double entendre.

OrangeLily · 02/06/2013 14:15

50 quid for an hour massage isn't that bad. It's about 75 quid round here.

Boomba · 02/06/2013 14:17

If she is a prostitute, I would much rather she wad able to advertise on gumtree, than being on the street or in a brothel

scaevola · 02/06/2013 14:17

Yes, I suppose it's possible, and that has led her also to think that "sparkling eyes" are an important factor in massage therapy.

HokeyCokeyPigInAPokey · 02/06/2013 14:18

Oh fgs is that all you have to worry about?!

She's not hurting you, she's making a living.

happyAvocado · 02/06/2013 14:18

I don't consider reading ads being a nosey parker, in fact I rarely go on Gumtree and yes I live in Sutton, so I guess that affects me in some way

maybe I should not read books like this and then I will stop feeling uneasy about pseudo Escort/Massage offers I see at times:
