I mean a photo of just your child/children without you in it too.

I absolutely love being a mum, and I love my children more than I could ever say but I still have an identity - I'm not just a mother.

andu

I'm not searchable on fb as I do a lot of work in abuse survivor and cult recovery groups - I have been stalked by members of said cults etc.

Why on earth would I change things because some random on here thinks it's wrong that I do fb this way?

Well, it at least tells people that either (a) you don't have a pathological phobia of penguins or (b) you do have a pathological fear of penguins but you're undergoing some kind of 'flooding' therapy for it. I'm not sure that's necessarily useful information to have, mind you.

After putting on a great deal of pregnancy weight I don't really want a pic of me as my profile. Pre pregnancy ones remind me that I've got fat. Plus my DD is much cuter than me and I don't care who knows it :)

YANBU for having that opinion, I think it's odd. But then like freddie frog I wouldn't put those photos on FB in the first place, I use it mainly to keep in touch with people and don't share many photos at all. For those people who don't want to be found I would put up a random picture.
