Alisvolatpropiis · 28/12/2012 18:00

YANBU.

I always think that!

50ShadesOfGreggs · 28/12/2012 18:01

YANBU, if you have that much time for Facebook then you can't be having much fun...

Snazzyfeelingfestive · 28/12/2012 18:02

YANBU!

MoomieAndFreddie · 28/12/2012 18:02

some of it is pure and simple showing off tho'

sad really when showing off to 100's of fb acquaintances is more important than actually living in the moment and enjoying yourself :(

have been guilty of it myself though tbh

YANBU! very sad.

jessjessjess · 28/12/2012 18:05

Yanbu! But my phone tried to autocorrect to YABU.

AKissIsNotAContract · 28/12/2012 18:08

I think I'm addicted to the Internet. I'm on holiday right now and posting on MN and FB more than I usually would. It's not because I'm having a crap time, it's just how I like to unwind. MNing from my sun lounger is still better than MNing while looking outside at the rain.

tittytittyhanghang · 28/12/2012 18:08

YABU. As usual says it takes seconds to post to FB.

forgetmenots · 28/12/2012 18:08

YANBU! Although I like the odd stealth-boasting check in, because I like clicking on the map and seeing everywhere I've been (sad, I know)

Alliwantisaroomsomewhere · 28/12/2012 18:11

"Look how lovely my life is!"
"Look at my great holiday!"

Friend of mine and her husband post pics like that. She is having an affair and he beats her. It is ALL an illusion. In my friend's case, a tragic one.

catgirl1976geesealaying · 28/12/2012 18:11

But it takes no longer to post on FB than to take the picture

In fact dont some devices do it automatically for you anyway?

KellyEllyChristmasBelly · 28/12/2012 18:13

I would post pics of my DD while I was on holiday but I only have family and close friends on my FB who enjoy being updated on our life,

DecAndAnt · 28/12/2012 18:15

If you're life was that great, you wouldn't be looking.
Just sayin

forgetmenots · 28/12/2012 18:16

Alisvolatpropiis · 28/12/2012 18:22

Call me old fashioned - I dont have a smart phone for the simple reason I like phones to make phone calls and send the odd text - but I certainly dont take a lappie away with me - holidays are family time and faffing about on t'internet detracts from that.

What jajas said. I post when I'm on holiday if there's free wifi - probably 1-2 interesting/amusing pics or statuses a day - they wouldn't ever be gloaty though.

Montybojangles · 28/12/2012 18:29

Don't usually post from holiday, but posted a lot of Christmas piccies simply because parents on both sides of family Ill with norovirus and so not able to be with us, but wanted to see children and what they were doing. My other friends don't have to look just because I have posted them.
