I don't do it and i agree that some might have relationship problems and protest too much.
But i find it equally sad to assume hidden misery about others. I see it quite alot here i.e.

-'Big wedding? I bet there is no love'.

  • 'Nice holiday? I bet they have rl problems'
  • 'Party? How shalow'
  • 'Earning above 5K per year? Hmm i know someone rich who has cancer'
  • 'She enjoys her baby? She is lying'

etc...etc.

Basically anyone who dares to smile for a second is miserable deep down/tacky/liar.

People just have different tastes, lifestyles, hobbies.

Anyway why is this different to those competitive threads: 'I'read 7 novels on hol', 'that's nothing. Me and dh read 9 each during a week in Italy'.
You could say the same about them, no?

It depends - I went travelling and I used facebook as the method of sending photos home to my nearest and dearest. I always did them in batches though - every few days to a week or two.

boomting I think that's fine. It's the folk that go off to The Canaries for 2 weeks and FB pictures of allsorts every day. Grin Ooh look a drink, ooh look a sunlounger, ooh look a very crowded beach etc etc etc

YABU. I don't remember the Facebook app which forces you to look at these photos. You don't like them, don't look at them. And yes, it does only take seconds. They are hardly spending their entire holiday uploading photos to Facebook. You OP may however be spending more time worrying about it.
