I was the whole damn thing once , it was years ago but I printed it out and consider it one of my life's greatest achievements . Not bad for someone who mostly lurks. (I am now more worried by my apostrophe use, life's, lives, )

I made it once but I was using a really crap name change at the time

I've not arrived either although I do read the roundup, as someone said you do have to be a name

I've never been in it either... But the roundup is responsible for lots of laughter during the train journey home on a Friday

i don't have favourites.

as in life, some people are funnier than others. i do try to keep an eye on not putting in the same people too often as it happens, because of threads like these.

I don't read the roundup, this is just a well educated guess

I made it in a previous name, I was also mentioned on a favourite MN names thread when I had that name [preens]. I've never been and never will be royalty, never posted a vast amount under any name and didn't have that one a vast amount of time.

The whole famous names thing is bollox IMO, one person is never going to see every thread so it's pot luck what gets in.

It's honestly not fair on Aitch saying you have to be a name. I'm not a name and I definitely wasn't one when I first made the roundup.

yes please, the more soundbite queens, the better.

i'll tell you what, though... sometimes people send me threads that they found hilarious and that's really helpful. Probably less than half of the time they're suitable for the roundup, though, unfortunately, just for one reason and another. (sometimes people literally send me threads where they themselves have said something only vaguely humorous and that's IT, nobody else has been funny at all...awkward.
