Morrisey is an eejit, always has been. But The Smiths, with jonny Barr on guitar were excellent. He s easily the best guitarist ever.

YABVU. Morrissey has given me the will to live since 1983, when I first heard him on the John Peel show.

All other singers are an irrelevance.

His concerts are a religious experience - his fans literally worship him.

His music, or actually that of The Smiths, was influential.

YAbvu and I also think its a bit off that you're calling the smiths crap when you don't even know their music or who morrissey is!! I know you just said you didn't say they were cap but having just read the thread, you clearly did say that a couple of times. Bit embarrassing having such a massive gap in your general knowledge (which knowledge of very very well known music is) tbh

I do like a fred like this though as it does show how we see the same person so differently.
