I think I'm definitely an outsider on MN, my kids arent gifted, we aren't rich, dammit we both have the work, full time! we don't live in a castle, shopat waitrose and certainly don't eat this good ham that y'all talk about Grin

Maybe I just go back under my rock?

Sorry madame, it's the one thing I can't do or be around. I'm actually quite phobic about it and find it really really hard this time of year.

MadameOneSword · 29/11/2012 22:09

How was everyone else's day?

Madame here

You need to cover yourselves in slankets, they offer full coverage and the vom comes straight off in the machine - they dry quickly too Smile

balroymum · 29/11/2012 22:29

I call it 'boring' not Boden. Crap, dull, folksie clothes that scream, 'bully me!' There I've said it! Feels goooood!

wewereherefirst · 29/11/2012 22:31

I likes boden stuff sometimes. < feels victimised>

wewereherefirst · 29/11/2012 22:32

Would you like a hug Madame? I can use DH's chemical protection suit? Wink

bagpuss · 29/11/2012 22:35

I don't really mind boden either. The kids stuff is ok but only when bought in a sale. The boys pjs are crap though, or maybe my boys just have really pointy knees, but the majority of the ones we've had have gone through at the knees. I don't get all this stuff about clothes and labels. If you like it buy it and if it is cheap then all the better!

InNeedOfBrandy · 29/11/2012 22:40

Oh I agree 100% balroy!

balroymum · 29/11/2012 22:40

Soz wewereherefirst! I said 'soz'- am I in? Bet you look fab - operative words are 'like' and 'sometimes' though! Unlike some I know who rave about it constantly and actually believe that it is the only retailer available other than the sanited John Lewis! Oooooo! Just remembered we had cavery tonight- and it was bloody lovely.

MadameOneSword · 29/11/2012 22:41

I really would like a hug thanks wewere

(feel like i live in a toxic warfar zone)

Right now in my bedroom...ds in asleep in Moses basket, and my bed has dh, and two girls are curled up with cat on end...

Can I sleep on someone's sofa?

balroymum · 29/11/2012 22:41

Sainted not sanited John Lewis!

MadameOneSword · 29/11/2012 22:45

Oh and Boden is the delight of the stepford wives club. What I love Is their tag line about individual clothing...no, they're all bloody wearing t!

I love a bit of Boden bashing! Wouldn't dare in real life. Did noone hear me?! We ate a CARVERY. A CARVERY. It was in a chain pub. DD had a fruitshoot and not the sugar free kind either. (I read a hilarious thread on here recently about the evils of carvery!)

wewereherefirst · 29/11/2012 23:06

I'm PMSL at being a Stepford wife! GrinSome of the stuff is dire, my old dog made the same patterns from vomit when he ate crayons

I freaking love a carvery, all the good food (and its the one time we eat lamb!)

balroymum · 29/11/2012 23:10

Woop woop to the carvery! Lovin' the vomit analogy- will have to say that in my head next time someone parades their Boden clad little darling in front of me!
