I think I'm definitely an outsider on MN, my kids arent gifted, we aren't rich, dammit we both have the work, full time! we don't live in a castle, shopat waitrose and certainly don't eat this good ham that y'all talk about Grin

Maybe I just go back under my rock?

I don't have any kids yet(am desperate for them but not found a man crazy enough to provide the goods yet) but may I join?
I drink blue WKD
I own three onesies- one being a rabbit suit complete with bobtail and ears
I was given a bottle of vintage port as a gift and used it to make Cheeky Vimto
I buy posh coffee filter papers- to strain my skittles vodka
I consider Thomas/Bob the Builder/Fifi pasta shapes in tomato sauce a great balanced meal.
I dedicate vast amounts of time to perfecting my feature wall(which is made up of lots of photos of family and friends)
I dropped out of two universities (one being Cambridge) to babysit instead
I work as a waitress in a tacky restaurant
I regularly google "free samples" to get my hands on as many as I can find.

So please can I join, would love to be looked after by you motherly people for a while

MadameOneSword · 28/11/2012 14:44

Of course....il even let you take one of my children, what kind at you looking for?

JugglingWithPossibilities · 28/11/2012 14:53

Ooh, I want a little wall covered in family & friends pictures now Cezella!
That would be fab Grin

I can see how cuddling babies would be a big draw but not sure you'll be allowed under this rock if you've been to Cambridge - though dropping out is better Wink

We have a balanced and varied diet of pizza, pasta, and jacket potatoes Blush DS likes cheesy beans with his jackets - have to confess for purposes of this thread we are veggie though - but I blame DH for that !

Have just got back from my LIDL raid with good supplies of cheap Baileys, a Daily Express, and plenty of cheap but superior continental chocolate. See, I am a bit of a chocolate connoisoir - is it strictly Cadbury's around here ?! Grin

Cezella · 28/11/2012 14:56

Haha don't let them pull the wool over your eyes though all you under the rock people- I babysit for many a Boden wearing, organic cooking mamma who hands me the spaghetti hoops and lidl nappies upon arrival.

Haha yes, I think dropping out is the crucial element here.

Also, microwaving dry pasta makes a really tasty snack (cringes)

I sometimes sleep in two onesies at a time (yet wonder why I'm still seeking a sperm provider)

JugglingWithPossibilities · 28/11/2012 15:02

Do you live near me Cezella ?
Are you free for babysitting ? Grin
You sound lovely Smile

MadameOneSword · 28/11/2012 15:03

I'm liking your use of the the term sperm provider, it's oddly cold and distant....physiologists would love you

OP posts:
Cezella · 28/11/2012 15:50

I'm in Wales Juggling, so probably not!

Haha psychologists would love be Madame. It's a good term, although I've found myself having to lessen my use of it occasionally on nights out. Strangely enough, hi you look like you have great genes can I have some of your sperm please (I'll pay you) doesn't go down too well with the average jock in the pub

JugglingWithPossibilities · 28/11/2012 16:03

Really Cezella ?

Have you really tried those actual words .... I think they could work out well with the right guy ? Wink

I've had worse chat up lines myself, haven't you ?! Smile

LittleAbruzzenBear · 28/11/2012 16:05

Juggling I love Aldi's chocolate. I buy us all chocolate reindeers for Xmas and the buttons are good too. I cannot get enough of their prawn crackers too.

JugglingWithPossibilities · 28/11/2012 16:12

Anyway, to report back further to fellow rock under dwellers ...

I also picked up four packets of chicken style pot noodles from LIDL ..... but they were so cheap (18p each) that they didn't come with a pot ... or any chicken of course. (But that's OK cos I'm an environmentally friendly veggie)

Can't wait till this evening to crack open my faux Baileys .... Dundalgan it's called. Pleased to see the evening is already drawing in .... Wink

InNeedOfBrandy · 28/11/2012 16:13

Cezelle not to strereotype but most Jamaican men love handing babies willy nilly all over the place.. give it a go Grin

Cezella · 28/11/2012 16:34

Really? I actually stand a chance with my tactic then? I'll see how it goes down and let you know whether I've been successfully impregnated then...

In other news, I think some of these outsiders are a huge sham. Looked after a little girl today, on the kitchen work top were little bags of organic carrot stick snacks and a little box of Boden socks. Walked through into living room and not only did I find a NEXT catalogue(shock horror) but the eBay print out that had come with the "Boden" socks...

MrsRhettButler · 28/11/2012 19:06

Oh you soo live near me brandy! My fav ever chat up line (which I've heard A LOT) is "ayy psssst, pretty girl, yuh look like yuh ready fi breed, an it's ME fi waan breed yuh" works every time Hmm Grin

It could definitely work with the right man Cezella Wink

MrsRhettButler · 28/11/2012 19:08

What's this microwaving pasta then? Do you mean normal pasta?

InNeedOfBrandy · 28/11/2012 19:13

That is the most common one mrsRB, Grin we have so seen each other before. I don't live in Easton no more but when I used to I couldn't walk to college (YMCA by colton club) without hearing that.

Cezella move to bristol, you'll be up the duff 6 months max Wink

MrsRhettButler · 28/11/2012 19:26

Ohh Colton club, those were the days..... I left Easton about 8 years ago now (wow! It seems like yesterday) and moved back to st pauls but I live up the hill now. (sounds posher but isn't) Wink

InNeedOfBrandy · 28/11/2012 19:33

I live in quiet boring boring no 24hr shops boring quiet Downend now, have done for 6 years off and on. Sad but to be fair my dc go to a decent school and will have a choice of two decent secondry schools. I keep thinking I should back I love easton but then I think bannerman road school hell no.

MrsRhettButler · 28/11/2012 19:51

Yh, my dd is in a good school and will get the chance of a couple of good secondary's (I can apply for south glos where I live) I do miss the 24 hour alcohol shops Grin and my mum living round the corner but it's worth it for the schools :)

InNeedOfBrandy · 28/11/2012 19:56

I know 24hr alcohol and a slix or ritas! Grin

JugglingWithPossibilities · 28/11/2012 19:58

In Need Of Brandy - Would a Bailey's do ?
Anyone else care to share LIDL's finest with me ?
BTW I used to live in Bristol (when I was at Uni but don't tell anyone I don't want to get kicked out from under this cosy rock Wink)

InNeedOfBrandy · 28/11/2012 20:01

JugglingWithPossibilities · 28/11/2012 20:06
