I think I'm definitely an outsider on MN, my kids arent gifted, we aren't rich, dammit we both have the work, full time! we don't live in a castle, shopat waitrose and certainly don't eat this good ham that y'all talk about Grin

Maybe I just go back under my rock?

starsandunicorns I have a box of barbies that my mom got from a charity shop that I am saving until dd is big enough, she's only 1 at the moment. I can't wait!!

JugglingWithPossibilities · 26/11/2012 10:28

noisy toys (Sun 22.07)

"DD1 is on the G & T register so maybe I fit in there"

Isn't she a bit young to be on spirits ? I started mine on cider first Grin

axure · 26/11/2012 10:50

MadameOneSword · 26/11/2012 10:59

Morning fellow mn rejects.

Just a quick look in before i am off to finish paint my sons bedrooms and yes i am painting them magnolia.

I too have the full sky package and even worse my sons have sky multiroom in their bedrooms.

FeckOffCup · 26/11/2012 11:43

Oh yes I also don't agree with the MN mantra "pink stinks" my DD has the pink version of most toys, a lot of her clothes are pink and she loves disney princesses which gets a lot of catsbum faces here as apparently they are anti-feminist.

JugglingWithPossibilities · 26/11/2012 11:48

Thank you Madame !

And your thread is one of my favourites for a long time too - since Cutted Up Pear ?!

dashoflime · 26/11/2012 12:02

Me, me! I don't fit in either
we have a LA maisonette
with a feature wall
And a fishtank
And a leather sofa: from the 80s!
And a loo brush (agree this is manky tho)
Grin

dashoflime · 26/11/2012 12:03

Oh and flying ducks, but these are kitchy and ironic right? Right?

akaemmafrost · 26/11/2012 13:00

If I gave my dc a salad or a thermos with pasta or soup or any other hot food as is oft suggested here on MN as a packed lunch option, chances are I would here the ructions and feel the ripple effect from home, half a km away Grin.

akaemmafrost · 26/11/2012 13:00

Hear

InNeedOfBrandy · 26/11/2012 13:20

Whats wrong with a fish tank?

dashoflime · 26/11/2012 15:35

I've no idea. According to some other thread its chavvy. Luckily the fish don't realise

Convert · 26/11/2012 17:39

Those poor, chavy fish swimming around in ignorance Sad

InNeedOfBrandy · 26/11/2012 17:42

Hmm buy them a fish tank 4x4 instead of a bridge, make them new money instead of chav.

milkymocha · 26/11/2012 17:54

I think i might possibly have found my place in Mumsnet Grin Smile

InNeedOfBrandy · 26/11/2012 17:59

Are we our very own quiche now?

LittleAbruzzenBear · 26/11/2012 18:01

If we are a quiche then I will get my frozen ready-to-roll pastry out of the freezer. Smile

InNeedOfBrandy · 26/11/2012 18:03

InNeedOfBrandy · 26/11/2012 18:03

milkymocha · 26/11/2012 18:06

JugglingWithPossibilities · 26/11/2012 18:24

Ooh yes please I'll have a Baileys Madame ( could be a new cocktail ?! ) - thanks

And I've got frozen peas if anyone does want some quiche for their tea Wink
