Unreasonable or not?

The Tesco till lady was telling me the orange one is nasty, the hazelnut one is ok but the classic is best.

So I had to buy some (£12!!!) (bargain!).

Fuckit. It is delicious. And I think I may drink the whole bottle.

I've hidden mine upstairs but I can hear it calling. Don't think it will stay hidden much longer.

YANBU

WilsonFrickett · 25/11/2012 19:02

Taggie's squiffy, Taggie's squiffy.... And now I'm wanting my 'Christmas' Baileys too. Sad

Just don't mix it with Frangelico. You'll never be sober again.

MrsHowardRoark · 25/11/2012 19:03

I'm halfway through my 'Christmas' bottle and I only bought it on Thursday Blush

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 25/11/2012 19:03

Oh how much do i love baileys?

And I'm off tomorrow so don't need to get up. Hurrah.

Sokmonsta · 25/11/2012 19:03

I miss the creme caramel baileys.

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 25/11/2012 19:04

What is frangelico?

OP posts:
WilsonFrickett · 25/11/2012 19:05

I once made my own. Lethal. It literally flattened an entire New Year party.

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 25/11/2012 19:06

While i am here.

AIBU to want a tumble dryer for christmas?

The washing makes me cry.

More baileys needed.

OP posts:
WilsonFrickett · 25/11/2012 19:07

Xpost. It's a hazelnut liqueur. You mix equal measures with it and the Baileys. It is heaven in a glass.

And now I REALLY want some....

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 25/11/2012 19:08

Chocolate baileys would be good

OP posts:
CheeryCherry · 25/11/2012 19:08

Ooh how do you make your own? I fancy being flattened! And OP, YANBU, it's a bargain for a litre, I was drooling over it today...but can look but not touch Sad

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 25/11/2012 19:08

frangelico.... hazelnut liquor (sp?)

Kinora · 25/11/2012 19:09

I've bought some Thorntons chocolate Liqueur. That is also hidden.

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 25/11/2012 19:11

Liquor is what foetuses float about in

OP posts:
WilsonFrickett · 25/11/2012 19:16

Cheery

Whiskey (it all came about because we won a litre of whiskey at DS school raffle. Yes, a litre of whiskey was a prize in DS school raffle. I miss that school).

Anyway, whiskey, cream, sweet strong coffee. Stir and chill or maybe even freeze slightly. It's not as thick as Baileys but stronger. Obv.

And now I must hide this thread or I'll be sending DP out to the shops to buy some for me....

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 25/11/2012 19:21

Oh lordy.

We have a bottle of whisky someone gave dh 2 years ago.

I may have to experiment.

An living with pils until house buy goes through. Mil bought a bottle (lg) for her elderly mother who has Alzheimer's.

We're not seeing her until next week.

I have drunk nearly all the bottle.

I am going to hell for stealing Baileys from a sick elderly lady, aren't I? Blush

MikeLitoris · 25/11/2012 19:25

Home made baileys is lethal.

I have vague memories of my dad making us two bottles a few years back. I'm not sure we even had a christmas that year.

MinnieBar · 25/11/2012 19:27

But Baileys isn't coffee-flavoured Confused

Is it??

SantaisBarredfromhavingStella · 25/11/2012 19:28

I'm currently working my way through a biscotti bottle in protest at the fact I can no longer get the mint one, sob sob Sad

EndoplasmicReticulum · 25/11/2012 19:29

I have to buy Christmas Baileys on Christmas Eve. Otherwise it just becomes December Baileys.

I find that Lidl Baileys imitation and ASDA Baileys imitation are almost as nice, by the way, and a lot cheaper.

VivaLeBeaver · 25/11/2012 19:31

The orange Baileys is nice. But Asda do Sidekick in a chocolate orange flavour for £6 which tastes the same.

VivaLeBeaver · 25/11/2012 19:31

I like Dooleys more than Baileys. I'm hoping you can still get it.

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 25/11/2012 19:35

DongDong that is shocking.

I would never have dpne such a heinous thing. Oh no. Not ever. Nor eaten father christmas chocolate nor easter eggs.

The cheap versions just aren't as nice.

Must cook supper while i am still capable.
