to be drinking the Christmas Baileys? Actually it is the Tesco till lady's fault.

Unreasonable or not?

The Tesco till lady was telling me the orange one is nasty, the hazelnut one is ok but the classic is best.

So I had to buy some (£12!!!) (bargain!).

Fuckit. It is delicious. And I think I may drink the whole bottle.

Baileys is a great substitute when you've run out of milk for your coffee. Unfortunately my boss would disagree if I used it every morning. Dammit I want some baileys now. None in the house and no money to send dh out to get some. And I have to write an essay. Sad

PropertyNightmare · 25/11/2012 20:52

Oh God, I could do with a chic orange now too

PropertyNightmare · 25/11/2012 20:54

That triffle sounds a bit lush.

Piffpaffpoff · 25/11/2012 20:57

I have a bottle of Baileys I was given, and a bottle of Aldi's pretend Baileys. I have opened neither as I was saving them for Christmas. But maybe I need to do a wee comparison taste test before then just in case? HmmGrinGrin

Agreed re baileys trifle except the carton if custard should have melted 70% cocoa chocolate stirred into it. Chocolate muffins, baileys, chocolate custard, cream, grated chocolate.

Mmm. Chocoriffic.

colleysmill · 25/11/2012 21:01

puff I have a good friend who proclaims to be a Baileys expert but during a blind taste test couldn't tell the difference between aldis and Baileys.

Her only gripe is the aldi bottle could be bigger

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 25/11/2012 21:04

No. The aldi one was a bit narst.

I may need a 4th glass.

There's a thread somewhere about making your own flavoured vodka using sweets and a dishwasher.
Can we do the same kinda thing with Baileys?
