Unreasonable or not?

The Tesco till lady was telling me the orange one is nasty, the hazelnut one is ok but the classic is best.

So I had to buy some (£12!!!) (bargain!).

Fuckit. It is delicious. And I think I may drink the whole bottle.

Coffee one is my favourite although I haven't tried the orange .

Glitterknickaz · 25/11/2012 19:37

Oh shit this is tempting me.
I sooo can't afford the Pro Points to pig me baileys though.

WilsonFrickett · 25/11/2012 19:37

endo that was always my approach. Until one year I went to Asda on Christmas Eve and they had sold out. Just sayin...

Gentleness · 25/11/2012 19:39

I saw that offer and have been mulling it over ever since - reckon Baileys could be an acceptable small drink while breastfeeding -yes? dairy is good isn't it? [hopeful] Otherwise my Christmas tipple is going to be Mackesons or water. Sigh.

Baby due on Christmas day which is poor timing in so many different ways...

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 25/11/2012 19:39

That would be awfil.

Might ensure this doesn't happen and purchise a few more. Just in case.

However, have you tried Amarula? It's even lovelier IMO. (Asda have it on special offer !)

Yummm Grin

kiwigirl42 · 25/11/2012 19:41

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 25/11/2012 19:43

I can't buy my Baileys until just before Christmas as I know I'll finish it.
I got something from y local shop last year, it was a sort of vodka cream thing.
I can't remember what it was called but it was delicious.

scentednappyhag · 25/11/2012 19:53

Why oh why did I open this thread?!
I have no Baileys and now I really really want some Sad

MimsyBorogroves · 25/11/2012 19:55

I have a bottle. I want it. It's calling me.

And we could always buy more...

freddiefrog · 25/11/2012 19:56

YANBU

I've cracked open the Christmas Quality Street to watch Fred Claus

I should have learnt from last year and not buy them so early, I ended up buying about 4 tins

Note to self - its still only November

Titsalinabumsquash · 25/11/2012 19:57

We went to Makro today, £9.99 a bottle for the biscotti flavour .... I am doomed. Baileys is one of my favourite parts of Christmas November/December

Saltire · 25/11/2012 19:58

baileys can be made at home you say? {hmm]. Will it get MIL pissed?

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 25/11/2012 19:58

A wee bit sqiiffy now. Its quite strong no?

OP posts:
Saltire · 25/11/2012 20:00

I don't like Baileys.

I like vodka, and bacardi and morgans and port and wine and the occasional whisky

Itsaboatjack · 25/11/2012 20:00

You know the best way to drink Baileys is with a shot of whiskey in it.

Either that or put some in your coffee. :)

monkeyfacegrace · 25/11/2012 20:01

Ive never tried baileys...

LauriesFairyonthetreeeatsCake · 25/11/2012 20:01

I've had to put all my Christmas goodies in the shed outside.

There are chocs, stollen, sloe gin, elderflower gin, posho wine, mince pies, Christmas cake, amaretto, biscotti, panforte ......

If the shed ever got broken into there would be a very happy burglar.

KenLeeeeeee · 25/11/2012 20:01

I have made Limoncelllo for Christmas hampers. Had to sample some, naturally... It tastes like boozy lemon sherbet!
. Confused

ifancyashandy · 25/11/2012 20:02

I have an unopened bottle from two years back. Hate the overly sweet, sickly stuff. Bleugh.

Anyone want it?

PeppermintLatte · 25/11/2012 20:02

Can someone tell me why, oh why cannot i not find my beloved mint baileys? Please god do not tell me it's been discontinued??

Startail · 25/11/2012 20:03

We've just opened a bottle of white port.

It's cold,it's wet and it is Christmas cake baking day.

Saltire · 25/11/2012 20:03

laurie - I hope you don't get a moose loose in your shed!
