is too much? Mine cost £5 from sainsburys. Does anyone here actually buy these things?

Bravissimo. I noticed they were on EasyFundraising so have been able to raise some funds for my Guide Unit at the same time

SorrelForbes · 11/10/2012 16:54

What a great idea.

May I suggest joining Cocosa (or I could invite you - I think we'd both get dosh for that; must check), a discount 'life style' site from which I just purchased a R+P bra 34G for £39 ie 50% off. Still expensive, but fits, looks fab (simple black balcony style, I know I am going to wear it to death Grin) and will hopefully last.

PacificDogwood · 11/10/2012 17:03

Yep, money up for grabs - sadly only for inviter, not invitee Grin

How does the cup on your existing one feel? I would say start with a 30E and work from there.

summeraupair · 11/10/2012 22:41

Thanks to you lot and all the recent threads on here I finally believed that my permanent red bra-marks weren't supposed to be there - I was in great denial about being anything other than a 36DD. Went to Bravissimo this afternoon... 34F.

In the right size (Panache Jasmine) it looks like I've actually lost half a stone and I'm already holding myself differently. I never want to take it off. Thank you Mumsnetters!!

SorrelForbes · 11/10/2012 22:44

Good to hear summer

I have been wearing Triumph Amourette (was 34DD - now 36D) but hoping to get the 34s out again soon Grin for the last 20 years. They cost about £25.00. They are very very comfy and supportive and fit me perfectly. I have tried to buy more lavish underwear and on occasion have tried on more than 20 bras in John Lewis to see if I can find something more gorgeous. About 10 years ago I even bought with much encouragement from a friend a R&P bra (the lady swore I was a 32F) for £55. It was never comfy and it didn't make me feel good. Looked lovely but just didn't feel right.

When I feel I need a lingerie treat - I buy myself a pair of matching Triumph Amourette knickers when I buy a new bra Grin

marriednotdead · 11/10/2012 23:12

The Panache Jasmine is bloody amazing in my professional opinion Smile

laurenamium · 17/10/2012 14:25

Hi I just want to pop back on here and give a massive thank you to sorrell and piratecat my new fantasie bra just came and its a perfect fit Grin my posture is instantly better!

I've been wearing a 38D the whole time, who would have thought I really needed a 36FF Shock!!

JenFrankenstein · 17/10/2012 14:35

Well the bras turned up but they all dig in so looks like I'm going back to my 42s. Thanks for the advice but it seems like I have a weird body

StatisticallyChallenged · 17/10/2012 14:41

Jen what are your measurements and what size are the bras? Are you sure it is the back- if the cup is too small it can make the back feel like it digs. Also, remember to scoop :-)

Mrsjay · 17/10/2012 14:50

you know what if i could afford that for a decent fitting bra I would pay it , Im not big but im sick of badly fitted bras that either give me all cleavage or look like i have 4 boobs or those bloody ultra padded things that should really be a car airbag,

StatisticallyChallenged · 17/10/2012 14:55

Mrsjay, have you had a decent fitting somewhere like bravissimo, rigby and peller, john Lewis etc?

Mrsjay · 17/10/2012 14:57

I was fitted as a 32 C once in debenhams that is as near a bra fitters we have where i live, I do fit into a 32c sometimes yet in other places I don't I think I probably need fitted again ,

StatisticallyChallenged · 17/10/2012 15:00

If you are stuck for somewhere to get fitted, then measure tightly underneath your bust, and then just normally over your widest point. Do the second while wearing the best bra you have. Post up or pm your measurements and I or one of the other bra bores willsuggest the best size to try.

Mrsjay · 17/10/2012 15:02

OK i will do that I am a big bigger atm because of the time of the month but I will do it and buy a decent bra ,

IneedAsockamnesty · 17/10/2012 15:52

i have several of the beaujaise sets, some weirdo often gets them delivered to my work. its rather lovely getting a set the box is nice and the knickers feel lovely and the bras fit
