To think that these T-shirts are disgusting?

Whatever you may think of her, this is hardly in good taste is it? It just makes the unions look bad to have this sort of thing on sale at their conference. Can you imagine the CBI having T-shirts looking forward to the deaths of Tony Benn, or Shirley Williams, on sale at their conference?

I have 3 in the fridge waiting.

Thatcher.

Ian Duncan Smith.

Chris Grayling.

BollocksToKarma · 11/09/2012 18:47
  • bottles, in the fridge waiting, that is.
MrsTerrysChocolateOrange · 11/09/2012 18:47

No Champers for Micheals Howard and Portillo, Karma?

GreenD · 11/09/2012 18:48

Why not get on with your life instead of looking forward to celebrating the deaths of others?

Obama gets plenty of shit from the Tea party and other hard right wingers but some of the worst vitriol is from Clinton supporters peeved they didn't get their woman.

Badvoc · 11/09/2012 18:50

Just because she is now old and frail does not negate her crimes.
Another one here polishing my tap shoes.

pictish · 11/09/2012 18:50

There will be dancing in the streets when that old cunt Thatcher pegs it.
I will be organising the party!

insancerre · 11/09/2012 18:50

How much of my life do you think it takes up to have a bottle sitting waiting in the fridge?

BollocksToKarma · 11/09/2012 18:50

They are not as high on the shit list Mrs. Although not far down.

They are vile!

I can't believe anyone would wear them. If they would they are nasty scummy people.

MrsTerrysChocolateOrange · 11/09/2012 18:54

Then she sent the Police out against the Miners, Tough. I think she thought that one out. My best friend's Dad was sent and she didn't know if he was coming back. He loved Thatcher though.

WofflingOn · 11/09/2012 18:54

I don't think my elderly Socialist father, who raged as the manufacturing base of the country was annihilated and thousands of communities were destroyed, will have the strength to dance on her grave.
He'll just have to pee on it.

Callisto · 11/09/2012 18:54

Distasteful, immature and actually quite bizarre, whether from right or left. I loathe Gordon Brown for what he did to the economy but I won't be dancing on his grave or wishing his death.

When I read threads like this, I really don't know why the South East of England is part of the UK at all.

GreenD · 11/09/2012 18:58

I'm from Derbyshire, nowhere near the Southeast. And if you think that the streets all over the country will be full of people celebrating Thatcher's death, you are very misguided. Plenty of people did well under her leadership. And plenty of people that lost jobs moved on with their lives and got new ones.

pictish · 11/09/2012 18:58

Loads didn't though and suffered dreadfully.

LadyBeagleEyes · 11/09/2012 18:59

I loathe Thatcher and everything she stood for but I don't like the tea shirts at all.
It doesn't sit right with me.

TidyGOLDDancer · 11/09/2012 19:00

I suspect, GreenD, it is you who is misguided. This is a much hated woman. There will be a lot of celebration.

MySpanielHell · 11/09/2012 19:00

GreenD, it is generally more concise just to write, "I'm alright, Jack."

HTH.

MrsTerrysChocolateOrange · 11/09/2012 19:01

Oh Spaniel that made me Smile

lastSplash · 11/09/2012 19:01

Now do they do mail order on those?

YABU OP

BupcakesandCunting · 11/09/2012 19:02

I'm going one better than dancing on her grave.

I'm having a street party when Thatcher dies. You're all invited.

pictish · 11/09/2012 19:02

I agree Spaniel.
