Whatever you may think of her, this is hardly in good taste is it? It just makes the unions look bad to have this sort of thing on sale at their conference. Can you imagine the CBI having T-shirts looking forward to the deaths of Tony Benn, or Shirley Williams, on sale at their conference?

erm, yes she did that to our town

and yes, it had a huge recovery since they lost power

however..recent stats show it's sliding again already

onceortwice · 12/09/2012 16:20

Where are you from, UnChartered - because I am from the heart of the NE and there hasn't been an amazing change between labour and the tories.

In fact, the best thing we ever did was get rid ot Mandelson.

UnChartered · 12/09/2012 16:24

east mids/east anglia borders

steel towns weren't all oop north Wink

pixiestix · 12/09/2012 16:30

As the daughter and grandaughter of mining folk I'll be at the party on London Fields the night she dies.

onceortwice · 12/09/2012 16:32

Well, given we had one of the most 'high profile' MPs (lovely safe seat he had there)... just check out his wiki profile. THere isn't a single mention of his consituency.

He did diddly shit for the area.

So, I am afraid I have a loathing for all MPs. But I wish none of them dead. Nor to I wish to dance on their graves.

UnChartered · 12/09/2012 16:36

oh right

high profile doesn't = any good and tbh, it shouldn't. never vote on a person's popularity, it's what they want to do for YOU that should be important, not what they've done for themselves..

we've just seen the back of our Tory MP - she was denied the high profile she sought. thank fuck

onceortwice · 12/09/2012 16:43

I wouldn't vote for him if it was him or the devil.

There is a reason we ended up with a monkey as our MP. (And he has done more than Mandelson ever did)

Margaret on the guillotine
When will you die?

WongaDotMom · 12/09/2012 18:04

Oh, and YABU

LineRunner · 12/09/2012 18:20

Actually, I don't want her to die.

I would like to see her arrested and questioned about her part in the Hillsborough cover-up.

Rowanhart · 12/09/2012 18:21

Onceortwice there has been a huge difference in NE towns under the Labour above. Not least a massive fall in unemployment. And I live in NE too.

Rowanhart · 12/09/2012 18:22

Oh and you don't have a monkey for your MP. He is your elected mayor.

onceortwice · 12/09/2012 18:23

He was elected as a monkey.

Says alot for the opposition.

He has been (as far as I can see) a pretty decent mayor.

Kayano · 12/09/2012 18:37

Where is the heart of the north east then?

There has been changes under Labour that we're fantastic

The first thing the Tories did was stop my epileptic cousins DLA and put a stop to maintaining existing good schools in the poorer areas, yet funding brand new shiny free schools in affluent areas

Lovecat · 12/09/2012 18:39

It's probably already been posted but I will be playing this loudly and raising a glass...

Lovecat · 12/09/2012 18:40

x-posts - yy Linerunner. Looking forward to the Geordie Jazz Hands...:o

creighton · 12/09/2012 18:57

onceortwice - are you stupid or something? the t shirts are being sold at the tuc conference, i don't think many 18-24 year olds are hanging out there. as for mt ballsing up my life, where in my posts have i said that? i live in london, i managed to avoid most of her bullshit and have toddled along with my life. i am not interested in her, when she dies it will be good riddance and that's all.

creighton · 12/09/2012 18:58

actually, no that's not all. she hated the majority of the population, as i said up thread so that's a reason to feel contempt for her.

Rowanhart · 12/09/2012 18:59

The woman supported Pinochet and condemned Mandela. Says it all really.

Oh and was involved in the cover up of 96 deaths. Let's hope she's questioned.

I find it hard to believe any one thinks she had an iota of goodness. She was a mad nasty woman and clearly a narcissist.

Look it's me on a tank! We are a grandmother! 'Fainted'twice at Buckingham Palace. Queen thought she was a nutter apparently.

Orwellian · 12/09/2012 18:59

I feel the same way about Blair and Brown for what they did to this country. Maybe I should design a t-shirt...

LineRunner · 12/09/2012 19:03

Ah Rowanhart, I need your input into the choreography. Grin

LineRunner · 12/09/2012 19:05

Lovecat, I also need to work on some moves that 'interpret' Thatcher being questioned under caution for perverting the course of justice.

onceortwice · 12/09/2012 19:11

Creighton lucky you.

I lived in an area she managed to do a great number on.

Ironic that you seem angrier than I do.

You're the one who said they were for older people. I just asked if there was an age limit. Regardless of what you do or don't think she has done to you (which in your case appears to be fuck all), you shouldn't be wishing someone dead.

Rowanhart · 12/09/2012 19:25

Only if you change the name to Mackem jazz hands Wink

Rowanhart · 12/09/2012 19:29

The people who blame Brown for global financial disaster make me laugh too. Ignorance is bliss ey...
