To think Peaches Geldof should have strapped her baby in?

and also, put the phone down when her baby fell out of his pram!

Have just seen photos of her poor baby tumbling out of his pram onto a pavement. I know the council should have sorted the pavement out, but he wouldnt have fallen out if he was strapped in :(

sorry for The Sun link

Kayano · 10/09/2012 18:41

Robin did I say that? I only responded I other posters talking about her mother

I actually said I didn't know what it had to do with anything

Kayano · 10/09/2012 18:42

My husband is home thanks and we've all had tea

What is it to you?

Aboutlastnight · 10/09/2012 18:43

she's only 23.

Give her a break.

Kayano · 10/09/2012 18:43

I agree with you everyone it was very sad. And hard. As I have acknowledged

GoldenBabooshka · 10/09/2012 18:44

"I am ever so glad I didn't have my new mother mistakes all over the press."

Absolutely. I was just waiting for this thread TBH.

The first thing I thought when I saw those pictures was "How awful, I hope they are both OK"

Re not letting go on the phone, that whole thing happened in an instant. I can guarantee you she didn't even notice the phone in her hand.

Some of you a being very unkind.

Michael Hutchence took his own life 15 years ago - and died same year as Diana. Paula appeared happy up to that point, but struggled after that.

EverlongYouAreGoldAndOrange · 10/09/2012 18:46

Nothing to me.

Hope her father is a little more chilled than you then.

Aboutlastnight · 10/09/2012 18:47

Animation - do you remember the Big Breakfast interview with Paula and Michael Hutchence on the bed?

scottishmummy · 10/09/2012 18:47

Christ alive put your phone down hen
retained hold of phone throughout? - priceless
hope her wee baby is ok

EverlongYouAreGoldAndOrange · 10/09/2012 18:48

I do.

Gorgeous man.

Moominsarescary · 10/09/2012 18:49

She's not the first sleb to be pictured with her baby falling out of it's pram, I'm sure she won't be the last

Prarieflower · 10/09/2012 18:49

I think Kayano has made her point, she's entitled to as much as any other person.I think some of you now are verging on bullying her, you're twisting a lot of what she says and it's not nice.

People are entitled to post opinions without other posters ganging up and twisting words.

I think Kayano has actually been quite balanced when you reread the posts.

Maybe it's time for us all to move on.Some support PG,others don't. Posters don't have to agree and many need to remember it's an aibu thread not a post in a diff area from a mum feeling guilt and wanting support.

Animation · 10/09/2012 18:50

"Animation - do you remember the Big Breakfast interview with Paula and Michael Hutchence on the bed?"

Yes - you could feel the chemistry. Powerful!

DreamsTurnToGoldDust · 10/09/2012 18:50

God, yes wasnt he gorgeous Everlong.

EverlongYouAreGoldAndOrange · 10/09/2012 18:51

Kayano is that you prairie?

Kayano · 10/09/2012 18:53

No. Nor am I the op

Nor am I all the comment people on the mail article

Nor is it just me who thinks

Offs just say 'my bad!' and move on you really don't need to blame the pram manufacturer or virus Johnson for you nattering on the phone and not having full control of pram with an I strapped child in it

The end. Off to bath dd

BegoniaBampot · 10/09/2012 18:57

Prairieflower

or you could say some posters on here slating a new mum (who never started this thread or asked for opinions) for a probably common error could be seen as a form of bullying or unpleasantness at best (plus some admitted they didn't like PG so were hardly unbiased). If you are going to stand up and deal out shit on tinternet, maybe you should be prepared to get some back.

Prarieflower · 10/09/2012 19:00

Whatever but it's not nice and I also don't think it's nice rehashing the MH and PY story. It wasn't a rosy love story, think people have selective memories.Hmm

Kayano · 10/09/2012 19:01

It's
Not bullying peaches

It's
Saying we all make mistakes (myself included) but you would get a lot more sympathy if you said 'look I'm a new mum, I made a mistake I won't repeat' rather than shouting at boris to fix the path you weren't paying attention to anyway

If I had said 'how dare she make a mistake! I would never do that, she is shit all the time' I would say that was bullying

To say this one incident was an isolated case f shit parenting' is not bullying, it's just not in total agreement with you Hmm

DowagersHump · 10/09/2012 19:06

She tried to push into the EasyJet speeding boarding queue last month - I didn't let her but some people behind me in the queue clearly did because she got on the plane not long after I did. She seemed like a very caring mother but she's got an irritating sense of entitlement.

IShallPracticeMyCurtsey · 10/09/2012 19:12

She looks absolutely gorgeous. Love that jumper.
Last week my baby fell out of bed in the middle of the night. Wasn't hurt, but gave us a shock, and it was my fault for not being careful enough. Still, the heat and shock of the moment had me blustering to DP about the pillow I had put there, did he not see it, DD obviously had learnt some new gymnastic skills hitherto unknown to us...

It was my fault, I was an idiot, I felt awful. You can bet your arse Peaches does too. People. Make. Mistakes

DesperatelySeekingSedatives · 10/09/2012 19:16

Yes she should have put the phone down when it happened. And yes, she really should have strapped him in. My heart was in my mouth looking at those pictures.

HOWEVER, I am not going to judge her too harshly, if at all. I have fucked up myself with my own childrens' safety and thanked every god out there both were ok. I'm sure Peaches had a shock bless her. Luckily baby was ok it seems and no doubt Peaches wont let it happen again.

scottishmummy · 10/09/2012 19:19

sure shell strap him in now.bigtime
and hopefully ge less glued to the phone
but hey ho it's not major shes a bad un territory

limitedperiodonly · 10/09/2012 19:24

She was wearing a jumper? I didn't notice. Couldn't take my eyes off her legs shoes.

Moominsarescary · 10/09/2012 19:24

I agree with priarie it is verging on bullying and what's with all the accusations of sock puppetry lately.
