just that really. i have a partner and he is very vocal about his disgust for overweight people and women in particular. he says that hes sure they are nice people but he cant help but judge them for being overweight. i always pull him up on it but it really bothers me.

Being sexually attracted to someone isn't a conscious choice, it's influenced by thousands of layers of societal programming. That's evolution. If everyone was attracted to all people of all body types it would lead to mayhem!

Also to be so judgemental and bitchy, in my experience these types are always controlling. I mean he is judgemental to the extreme, and look at the extreme control he's placed over your lifestyle? If you gain weight he said he'd leave you. Flat out. Shouldn't your body be you choice, not his? What about after pregnancy? Or if you had an accident that meant you gained weight?

Thereis nothing wrong with not fancying people that are fat/skinny/short/tall/blonde/dark etcetc.

The issue here is that this guy sees fit to be critical of others on a regular basis, purely because of how they look.

She is now married to a nice person.
