Oh no hope your ok. Please try not to panic your 36 weeks if they have to deliver you baby should be fine at that age. Thinking of you x

worriedwretch · 26/07/2012 09:01

MW at hospital is strapping me up to monitor in a bit and is going to do bloods etc
Apparently I don't look eclamptic as face not swollen but my head is pounding :(

Have u asked for any more pain relief? Just try to lie down relax and wait for the blood results. You r on a monitor they will hear if baby gets distressed.

SomethingSuitablyWitty · 26/07/2012 09:15

worried - hope it's going ok there! You are in the right place whatever happens. Hope the monitoring and blood work goes fine and BP comes down!

worriedwretch · 26/07/2012 09:25

Fetal heart rate going from 140s to 190s and everywhere in between. Is that ok??

OP posts:
SomethingSuitablyWitty · 26/07/2012 09:35

Docs will tell you, but I think it is normal for it to go up and down a bit. Point it out to nurse when she comes back if you like. Try to relax if you can. You are in the right place now, so you can lie back, breathe deeply, and take one thing at a time.

worriedwretch · 26/07/2012 09:48

All ok it seems BP / ctg / urine etc

Being sent home

Which makes me want to cry because I'm so tired and my head hurts and DP will go to work as soon as I get in

Then don't go home go to your mums and have a sleep!!!! White lie this once won't hurt :(

TitsalinaBumSquash · 26/07/2012 10:00

Go to your mum's and have a sleep, then gave a very frank and honest chat with your OH, this really isn't on.

dreamingbohemian · 26/07/2012 10:01

Can you tell your DP that the docs said you shouldn't be alone today, just in case?

Otherwise go to your mum's. You need rest!!

I cannot believe what a jerk he's being.

SomethingSuitablyWitty · 26/07/2012 10:11

He just can't! He needs to pull himself together now and support you.

CinnabarRed · 26/07/2012 10:14

What does DPrick do for a living that's so vital that if he doesn't do it the world will stop turning?

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 26/07/2012 10:15

OP he is being utterly foolish. My DH would take a day off in this situation, and he is self-employed so we would lose money.

worriedwretch · 26/07/2012 14:54

Home - and DP is here - apparently his boss gave him a dressing down about coming into work when I was clearly poorly. Ha!

OP posts:
Wheresmycaffeinedrip · 26/07/2012 14:55

:) good!!!!

dreamingbohemian · 26/07/2012 16:01

Oh good!

It's terrible though that he'll listen to his boss and not you on this Sad

The man needs a serious arse kicking

worriedwretch · 26/07/2012 20:14

the house was a total bomb site all day and it takes CONSTANT reminders *its nearly dinner time, what do you fancy cooking? ETC ETC

ITS SO DRAINING

Wheresmycaffeinedrip · 27/07/2012 08:43

How you feeling today ?

worriedwretch · 27/07/2012 09:53

exhausted !

head ache still there, have tried booking an appt with GP incase its some thing like a sinus problem, but cant get an actual appointment til Wednesday :(

OP posts:
Wheresmycaffeinedrip · 27/07/2012 09:57

That's ridiculous :( can u call midwife again?

SuzySheepSmellsNice · 27/07/2012 10:10

The 'helpful' receptionist at my GPs told me I couldn't have an appointment for a couple of days unless it was an emergency. I told her it was, and she asked if I was sure. I politely refrained from swearing at her and confirmed that it was. (The next day I was in hospital having my appendix out). Tell them that it IS an emergency, and that you need to see someone today FFS...

bloody annoying receptionists who think they are qualified doctors

Wheresmycaffeinedrip · 28/07/2012 08:37

Hows it going? Are you feeling any better?

Wheresmycaffeinedrip · 29/07/2012 12:16

Any news? Are you ok?

Flyingwithoutwings · 29/07/2012 16:03

Ditto, how are you feeling? Smile
