Don't flame me! I'm not even a fan of the man - honest. He just seems to have the whole world of Mumsnet against him and I don't see what's wrong with him other than the Press have got it in for him.

Nicole Kidman seemed very happy when she was married to him, I remember reading an interview with her in which she talked about his kindness and how he "never went for the jugular" in arguments.

He has raised his two children with Nicole after she seemingly walked away from them. Like Peter Andre, he Really Loves His Kids.

OK so he's a Scientologist but to agnostics like me that doesn't seem any weirder than Christianity or Islam or any other religion.

So can we please have some MN love for TC?

squoosh- I thought that too. If you ask me KH has played a blinder here. The very speed by which it all went through just screams of something dodgy and of her having dirt on either him or the church.

If he had fought it, the COS would have really come under the microscope. I have never seen a man agree a settlement so fast! It just shouts that she has something on them.

To hell with the Oscars, she'll never top the way she's acted in the last fortnight! TC is a very determined customer and not one to be easily pushed around. I think the 'church' forced him to give her what she wanted (in exchange for silence no doubt) in an attempt to make the bad press go away. Just shows that his commitment to scientology comes before all else.
