AIBU to be shocked and horrified?

I'm shocked and horrified at the amount of people who say they are 'shocked and horrified' at things that don't really warrant shock or horror...just a bit of an eyebrow raise and perhaps a spot of pearl clutching for good measure.

I think it's shocking and horrific if I'm honest Shock Grin

HerMajestyQueenHillyzabethII · 10/06/2012 06:30

YANBU. I finding myself doing this > Hmm so often lately at some people's silly, slightly hysterical over-reactions to things that it's a wonder my face hasn't got stuck like it.

All I can say is that is people are shocked and horrified so easily then God help them when they get any real problems.

That's right, Maryz. Only yesterday I found myself being scandulized, shoked, agast, horified and yes, dismade and low and beeholed, my speling went to pott.

Today, however, I am not yet even miffed, so my spelling is fine. It just goes to prove that extreme emotion in the face of overwhelmingly underwhelming issues negatively affects normal brain function.
