AIBU to be shocked and horrified?

I'm shocked and horrified at the amount of people who say they are 'shocked and horrified' at things that don't really warrant shock or horror...just a bit of an eyebrow raise and perhaps a spot of pearl clutching for good measure.

I think it's shocking and horrific if I'm honest Shock Grin

I am shocked and horrified that I have drunk a whole bottle of wine to myself( and feel fine) but am sniffing around the fridge as ds1 left a can of beer before he flew to ukrane.

Would it be shocking to neck that as well?

We can't afford shoes so I just paint the kid's feet black, glue some insoles to the bottom and lace their toes together.
