HoneyDragonWearingLederhosen · 08/06/2012 22:15

Interesting post you've been here long enough to know this daft crap would happen Grin

joanofarchitrave · 08/06/2012 22:15

I remember before we had the strikeout thing. Times were hard. You don't know you're born, you young posters.

WorraLiberty · 08/06/2012 22:16

I like the strike out but it really bugs me when people strike out whole sentences or most of the fucking OP

TartyMcFarty · 08/06/2012 22:16

I can't bear it when it's used after the phrase it's been 'substituted' by - makes no sense. But I wish I had a strikethrough on phone and FB

mummakaz · 08/06/2012 22:17

yabu

MavisGrind · 08/06/2012 22:17

Yes. But don't you wish you could do the strikeout in conversation? You know, IRL?

bibbitybobbityhat · 08/06/2012 22:18

Oh come come come Sad

6 replies and not a yabu or yanbu in sight Hmm

Get with the programme people!

OP posts:
AgentZigzag · 08/06/2012 22:19

It's my favorite bit apart from the trolls

If you people can't use it to its full potential it does look a bit lame.

AgentZigzag · 08/06/2012 22:20

I use it sometimes with DH Mave Blush

Enragia · 08/06/2012 22:21

i lobbied for it YEARS ago

we were all super pleased

MsVestibule · 08/06/2012 22:22

YABU I love it when it's used properly. But I suppose that's your point, so maybe YANBU. Who knows, who cares.

ReindeerBollocks · 08/06/2012 22:23

I like it, when used correctly.

It can be fucking hilarious. But when it's overdone (something I'm probably guilty of) or frequents a post then it doesn't have quite the same effect.

So YANBU.

But this thread will be full of strike outs. I hope my post is actually of some use amidst the chaos.

MarySA · 08/06/2012 22:23

I think it's quite effective in some posts. Never tried it myself though.

There's always a first time.

Bottom of the page, below the talk box tells you how to do strikeouts (and biscuits etc) Imogen.

AgentZigzag · 08/06/2012 22:27

Woohoo imogen fuckwit Grin

FeakAndWeeble · 08/06/2012 22:27

I remember the days of no strike out

I was tres excited to return from haitus to find it installed and abused it appallingly and without remorse for several months

Agree that it's horrible when it's used after a phrase rather than before, it makes my eyes itch. It makes no sense!!
