To ask why some people think McDonalds is the devils food?

What have some people got so against it?

I use macdonalds not so much as a treat but more when I really cannot be bothered or we're back really late which usually comes once a month. Everytime I go it's always really busy, weekends it's absolutely full of kids so people must be eating it and they're not all dead/obese/chav scum. So why is it so frowned upon by some?

I'm going to McDonald's today with my son. Can't wait as I've been craving one because of this thread

I don't eat McDonalds food because it is truly awful - the food tastes synthetic - on account of the fact that it is synthetic.

Ihaveabreastfeedingquestion- covered it for me! Awful food and awful adverts that seem to target children who shouldnt be eating this crap anyway.

I don't care what anyone thinks I like it and so does my son.

I love a Bacon & egg mcmuffin, have tried making them at home but can't get the rubbery egg tasting the same. Also partial to a Big Tasty (Messy) when they're on. Coffee is good at McDs as well. Only go once every 6 weeks or so but enjoy it when I do.

Sausage & Egg McMuffins are my fave.

I do wonder how those who claim the food is low standard, can know since they have either never been or clearly haven't been for a very long time . Also wonder if they have ever scrutinised the ethical farming/animal welfare standards of any other restaurant chains (not nec. fast food)?

Disagree about the coffee though axure (weak!).
