Say I'm not the only one (don't have one now, got rid more than 4 years ago)

Not on facebook, but have been a mumsnetter for (gulp) 6 years. The things I like about mumsnet ? anonymity, able to talk about private stuff with impartial strangers, able to only read interesting stuff and ?hide thread? when people are dull, racist or annoying, able to have a break from it for six months and then just jump straight back in,? are the Exact Opposite of facebook. Plus I don?t trust facebook with my private information. Am on twitter for work ? I only follow people who are in same field as me and who tweet about work stuff. If someone mentions that they just ate a sandwich etc. then I unfollow them straight away. I don't tweet myself I just read it, and I often get useful leads for my job.

I have an irrational fear/dislike of Facebook. I have an account but only 1 friend (I wanted to see some pictures she'd posted of me, and promptly asked her to take one down) - not used since.

Last night as I was trying to work out how to de-reg from FB (couldn't work it out), I decided to have a nosey on the FB pages of some Primary School children I know, many without privacy settings. It makes me sad a bit that it preys on the whole idea of collecting "friends" (popularity) in children not old enough to have developed a sense of themselves.

I'm not on facebook, but my mother lets me use her account so I can do some cyberstalking .

Hate it came off it 2 yrs ago too many perves and fake people!!! Pretending they are rich hav a certain car when in rl u know it's not true
