Hmm there must be.....

Say I'm not the only one (don't have one now, got rid more than 4 years ago)

OP posts:
Lambzig · 25/05/2012 18:22

Never been on it, have looked at my husband's account and its just not for me. I dont want to be in touch with people that I dont speak to in RL and I dont assume that anyone cares about my status.

MarshaBrady · 25/05/2012 18:22

Nope.

With o/s friends we email pictures to each other instead. Which I really like.

Kayano · 25/05/2012 18:23

People on here blame Facebook for the fact that people are fucking moronic

I'm on Facebook and can use it properly and I don't put up with crap people

cakeismysaviour · 25/05/2012 18:23

I have facebook, but don't use it to chronicle my every move! I often get told that I am 'weird' for not wanting a smartphone. I am happy to check facebook if I am on the laptop anyway, but don't feel the need to read facebook whilst out and about!

I don't like FB at all. I'd delete my profile, but there are pictures on there of DD that got deleted from our hard drive and I don't know how to get back :(

Mrsrobertduvall · 25/05/2012 18:26

I'm not.
I am not interested in the minutae of peoples' lives, do not want someone unexpected from my checkered past popping up, and would waste even more of my time.

teedeeuk · 25/05/2012 18:29

Loathe FB, have seen it and don't want it.

Laquitar · 25/05/2012 18:29

I had an account to keep in touch with neices and nephews abroad, then everybody wanted 'to be friends' and i deleted my account.
We use Skyper.

QuickLookBusy · 25/05/2012 18:30

Me, it's rubbish.

ODearMe · 25/05/2012 18:30

I feel liberated ever since I came off Facebook and do not miss it at all. I believe it is the root of all evil :(

giveitago · 25/05/2012 18:32

Not me - no time. And then again can't be bothered to say anything interesting about my life at a given time. It has it's uses but I predict its demise (expect with publicity for causes and organisations).

I'm not on FB or twitter - feel uncomfortable with the "instant" nature of it.

That and the fact that even if you deleted things you regret there is still a
digital footprint.

And my phone is for calls and texts only.

Mandy2003 · 25/05/2012 18:34

It's vile. Neither me nor DS have any interest in using it. I enjoyed a certain amount of schadenfreude when I saw how the shares had been overvalued. And that guy who invented it - freakin' weird or what (look at his eyes in any picture or on TV) - woooo-er!

JustFab · 25/05/2012 18:38

YANBU.

I am not on facebook and when I was on it I hardly used it.

OldGreyWiffleTest · 25/05/2012 18:43

I'm not on Facebook - I really object to the fact that they 'own' every picture etc. that is put on there. I don't have a Smartphone either, just a little PAYG for MY use, not for everyone to call me wherever I am and whatever I am doing.

cocolepew · 25/05/2012 18:45

Nope, never have.

DizzyKipper · 25/05/2012 18:47

YANBU. I left fb after family issues, not been on it for about a year now - don't miss it either.

MoreBeta · 25/05/2012 18:51

Not on it and never will be.

I am old enough to remember adult life before the internet and it didnt need you to tell your friends about every waking moment and trivial thought.

Blogs/Forums replaced magazines/newspapers and email replaced letters - which is progress.

Twitter and Facebook represent a regression in the sum total of the intellectual stock of humanity.

Pascha · 25/05/2012 18:53

I'm not on Facebook and neither's my wife.

HillyWallaby · 25/05/2012 18:55

It's a double edged sword. Used well and sparingly it's brilliant. In the hands of morons it's the work of the devil.

timetoask · 25/05/2012 18:57

I hate it, blocked my account, not interested.

donnie · 25/05/2012 18:57

what is facebook?

rhondajean · 25/05/2012 19:23

Signing in to say no facebook here either, as far as I can seeits only good for fighting, snooping and tailored adverts, none of which particularly appeal thanks.
