to ask you, what is your impression of me?

Haha, realise I am probably going to get shot down in flames for being self-indulgent and attention seeking, but hope for a few answers also....

I build up a picture of MNets in my head from what they write, how they write and the subjects they post on. Sometimes I come across an opinion on a thread from a poster that really suprises me because Otto doesn't fit with the impression I had of that poster and so my poster persona evolves. I love eclectic 'odd' people in RL, so I really enjoy not being able to pigeon hole people

I have always been a bit fascinated by how other peoples interpretations of words and actions can be very different from the intention. And also how people can be very different depending what company they are in....

So, it occurred to me today, MN is a perfect opportunity to ask alias of people 'what do you think of me?' (if anything)!

I went on a MN meet up, and the first person I met I already knew in RL!
She said "I wouldn't have picked you as a MNer", I'm not sure what that says about me, I post as I speak.

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 18/05/2012 12:53

So porca did you lie when you said you liked me a lot? If you have only just noticed me. Sad

BeaWheesht · 18/05/2012 12:54

Inmysparetime - oh dear.

porcamiseria · 18/05/2012 12:54

The emotion grew very fast, but its there. FOR REAL

inmysparetime - You should have said to her - Did you mean to sound so rude?

BeaWheesht · 18/05/2012 12:56

Porca - are you a 5 year old boy? My ds? He says 'for real' ALL the time. For real.

SugarBatty · 18/05/2012 12:57

I think "Bejeezus" looks like one of the corrs sisters.

I'm a bit scared of "worra" she gave me a biscuit once and I was new and thought it was like calling a truce so I gave one back!

I think "tic toc" is a sensible midwife.

I think "2 shoes" is an essex girl because of the girls on x factor.

"Therhubarb" intimidates me a bit.

i have been told on here that in RL i must be a "bolshy "uber SN" parent (whatever that is)"..which is laughably far from truth.

Also that I was probably someone who was quiet at school and is now rebelling late ..sadly not true either.

So have now learned not to judge people by how they seem on here.

I probably also usually sound like a 12 year old boy instead of a 40 year old woman.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 18/05/2012 13:02

it's mine too everlong..well it is when it comes to me...not so fond of it from other people if it's directed at me..filthy hypocrite that I am Grin

BeaWheesht · 18/05/2012 13:02

Oh yes Fanjo. You scare me a bit actually!

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 18/05/2012 13:03

I always thought you seemed a decent type Everlong.

And porca I think is a lovely warm and emotional person IRL.

echt · 18/05/2012 13:04

I subdivide posters between the left and right on education issues in general, and they, on the whole pitch up as the same on just about everything else.

bejeezus · 18/05/2012 13:04

Oooooo I like rhubarb (it might just because we have been united in battle on a recent rage making thread)

I think she looks like kungfupanda

Beawheesht I am a big softie IRL. I am just Scottish which possibly makes me a bit direct and also never have time to post so just dash off some words, so have to get straight to the point.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 18/05/2012 13:05

people who have met me in real life would kill themselves laughing at thought of me being scary.

A customer at work once said I had been aggressive to him (I just wouldn't give him what he wanted) and the other staff fell around laughing.

BeaWheesht · 18/05/2012 13:05

Lol. Ok. I am Scottish too...

porcamiseria · 18/05/2012 13:06

aww Fanjo. I always thought you might have had a few large babies? cos of the name! sorry !!!!! but you seem nice
cant beleive i just told you i think you have a large vagine, sorry

I like to be a bit "urban" sometimes bea Grin

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 18/05/2012 13:06

I think your impression of people can be radically altered by just 1 thread where they feel particularly strongly about something. And sometimes I do find myself thinking - do you really think that, in amanzement.

Porca - Am I right that you have a strong faith?

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 18/05/2012 13:06

anyway i will try to be more naice and fluffy in my posts Grin

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 18/05/2012 13:07

Porca I have had one 6lbs 2oz baby thank you very much, my fanjo is as dainty as a tiny pocket of fairies

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 18/05/2012 13:07

Bea - You do have a scottish word in your NN. A bit of a hint maybe?

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 18/05/2012 13:08

ok..so I come across as I scare people and have a massive flapping vagine
