to ask you, what is your impression of me?

Haha, realise I am probably going to get shot down in flames for being self-indulgent and attention seeking, but hope for a few answers also....

I build up a picture of MNets in my head from what they write, how they write and the subjects they post on. Sometimes I come across an opinion on a thread from a poster that really suprises me because Otto doesn't fit with the impression I had of that poster and so my poster persona evolves. I love eclectic 'odd' people in RL, so I really enjoy not being able to pigeon hole people

I have always been a bit fascinated by how other peoples interpretations of words and actions can be very different from the intention. And also how people can be very different depending what company they are in....

So, it occurred to me today, MN is a perfect opportunity to ask alias of people 'what do you think of me?' (if anything)!

Ooof blimey Oracle. Now I know who you are Wink

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 18/05/2012 15:19

Was that a passive agressive neigh Hully Grin

Hullygully · 18/05/2012 15:20

Then it would have gone neigggghhh Smile

TalcAndTurnips · 18/05/2012 15:21

Frank - Maryz made a sudden appearance on here this morning.

On my thread.

Which, Mrs Bra, I hope you will notice has now over fifty posts. This is an immense achievement for me - an achievement I shall be celebrating in The Queen's Trousers later on this evening, before moving on to cut a rug in Smooth Moves Disco Bar and Coffee Lounge (home for bed by 2230).

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 18/05/2012 15:21

Thanks for the pointers on the differences between neighs

FrankWippery · 18/05/2012 15:25

Why thank you Talc.

MardyBra · 18/05/2012 15:57

Over fifty posts.

Will PM Chaos and tell her to watch her back. Wink

PrincessPinot · 18/05/2012 15:58

I miss maryz.

I'm going to Buck Pal to see the diamonds. I'm going to try and steal em all.

Cunning plan, non ?

TalcAndTurnips · 18/05/2012 16:53

Mardy - if I didn't know you better, I'd think you were mocking my paltry achievements.

But of of course you're not - for you know I admit freely that I can't start threads for toffee Wink

I hope you will join me later for a light ale or a schooner of Emva Cream. We could paint the town beige.

MardyBra · 18/05/2012 17:25

Mock? Moi?

We could even push the boat out and go for a little Sandeman's port.

Oooh Mardy - you could be the Grin

MardyBra · 18/05/2012 17:56

It's not an aspirational advert for a drink really. It's kind of saying: "this is the drink for you if you are an old fart who likes having dinner parties in dark, gloomy rooms, with sinister cloaked guests". Grin

TalcAndTurnips · 18/05/2012 18:11

Yup. It's about as convincing as that pile of advertising doo-doo they managed to conjure up on this week's Apprentice.

That probably put the English Sparkling Wine campaign back by about four decades Confused

MmeLindor. · 18/05/2012 18:19

Not mentioned.

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 18/05/2012 18:21

I think Mme Lindor is early 30's, 3 very well behaved and beautiful DCs and she has a lovely tastefully decorated and clean house. She is obviously very intelligent, kind, wise and funny.

KatieScarlett2833 · 18/05/2012 18:25

Where has Maryz gone?

TalcAndTurnips · 18/05/2012 18:30

Katie - she said earlier that she had to reconfigure stuff on her new computer and then go out.

But she also mentioned something about a booze-laden orgy on here later.

KatieScarlett2833 · 18/05/2012 18:33

She's back on a new thread talc

In my head you are a genius, true fact. I think your posts are unmissable.

NinthWave · 18/05/2012 18:37

at TheSecondComing

I am here, mostly just lurking and namechanging though

MmeLindor. · 18/05/2012 19:01

(((hugs EatBrains))) and that is just for the "early thirties"

I don't even have a house at the moment, never mind a clean one.

Do people have an idea of what a poster could be like, based on their posts? I have found there is no way of telling. A really nasty poster could look very sweet and have a "lovely" life, and one who is really sweet could have a chaotic life. Not thinking of anyone in particular Wink

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 18/05/2012 20:03

Mmme Lindor - I think your name makes you sound very elegant and poised and very very confident and organised. The type of person in rl I would be slightly intimidated by

TalcAndTurnips · 18/05/2012 20:38

KatieScarlett- your words are so kind and lovely Thanks

It's all a facade. I am actually a total knobber.

The name KatieScarlett makes me think that you are devastatingly and delicately beautiful and glamorous. Don't disappointment me - lie if necessary. Wink

catgirl1976 · 18/05/2012 20:49

CBA to read 17 pages..........

Can I go straight to a self-indulgent "but what do you all think about meeeeeeeeee?"

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 18/05/2012 20:57

Early 30's, intelligent, fun but with lots of common sense. But for some reason - I can't remember why - I have already seen your photo on your profile and you don't look anything like I had imagined. I had imagined well groomed, conservatively dressed but classically stylish - instead of an alternative gothy look.
